Have any one heard of rice being maggots?

An old woman scared me once when she told me that rice was maggots it comes from the ground. I love rice but just to think of what that woman told me I think about every time I eat it.

very mean mess me up you should have seen her looking at me eating my rice with a disquisting look on her face like I was really eating maggotts.
