I definitely can and its a requirement but I've met some people that they can't sleep while some music is playing throuh a radio or component. Just like individuals who can't sleep with the lights on. What about you? Can you fall asleep when there's music playing?

Hi mchavez: basically it's not that i can sleep with music but that i need to listen to music to sleep well. I used to play my favorite artists while i'm sleeping, i think this makes me have a nice sleep. I'm in the dreaming world about ten minutes after i'm in my bed, seriously. Thank god we have the power of music. Thanks for opening this discussion. Have a nice day.

Hello. I thought I could not. But, quite often, I hear the music still playing when I wake up. That means, I have been sleeping so nicely while the music is still playing ! Ha ha ! Well, the classical music I often listen in the evenings are very smooth and enchanting, putting me to sleep very relaxed and comfortably. I like the music very much !

hi mchavez^^;;
yes i can but it depends on the music and how loud it is.
when i was in the school, i used to sleep with the radio LoL. i mean i put the radio beside the bed so i can easily reach for it if i didn't like the music playing. it was on until i got up in the morning.
i still listen to music while sleeping but not as much i do in highschool and college.
with the lights on, i used to be bothered but i can sleep with in on now though i prefer it turned off

Unfortunately I can not sleep with the music playing. My attention will be caught by the word of the lyric. And I will keep think about the lyric all the time. Maybe I can sleep with the Bandari playing...

Good day to you mchavez11,
With reference to your question, it depends upon on what type of music. I can say that I can fall asleep if the music being played is like a ballad or mellow or maybe a love song. It makes me relax and have a sound sleep.

Hi arasheila: good factor i have to say. In my case it's the same i will not be able to sleep if i am hearing some disgusting music such as reggaeton. Lol. XD. Music it's good to you if this connects you to good memories. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. Alvaro.

I can sleep with it playing. My problem is falling to sleep. just about the time I do, a really good song starts and I have to listen to it, and then of course all the thoughts and memories jarred by some songs keeps my mind running in high gear.
So most of the time I turn the music off before bed.

I really can't sleep with music playing. Its a distraction to me. Maybe if it was the sound of the ocean or something. I have before but it was when I was way younger and was exhausted out of my mind. I can't even sleep when I hear music in my head while I'm trying to sleep it keeps playing over and over in my head and keeps me awake. Everyone is different though, and by the way I can't sleep with lights on either, or noise, or the TV, I like it dark and quiet.

I can not sleep without music, or the news in the background. I need to have music on in the background so I am not distracted by outside noises, or the bedroom activities of my next door neighbours. LOL our bedrooms are wall to wall, so we keep music playing, so as not to hear them making love in the next room.
