Yesterday, I thought our weatherman had lost his mind. They were calling for snow here in the Tennessee Valley. Usually even if it does snow here, it never sticks around. Well, this morning I got up and looked out the window just to see if it was snowing or if once again the weatherman screwed up. This time, they actually hit it, we actually had some accumulation. Only about an inch but that's all they were calling for. It is so pretty, it covered everything except the roads and that's the way I like it. I was shocked that it stuck around because it had been in the 50's and higher all week. Needless to say, the kids were excited about it and they got to build a snowman. Well, I hope everyone gets the weather that they are wishing for...Have a Great Day!

I'm over here in Texas and were I am at it rarely snows like once in a blue moon and the same here, if it snows it never sticks to the ground. Well, I too was thinking that there was a glitch in the news or something when the weather man stated that there was a chance of snow. I'm like whatever, I couldn't believe it. At first they had said there would be a 70% chance of snow and then it had dropped to 20% chance of snow. Well we still had snow although the weatherman said it was unlikely. Yea, but I had missed it, I slept right through it. Oh well. My husband saw the snow while driving on the road and also he said that people were talking about it at his job about how exciting it was to see snow.

We got a little bit of snow on Thursday, it was only about an inch, there is still some on the ground but it is pretty patchy now and will probably gone by tomorrow, but it is really cold here so the cold might keep that little bit of snow hanging around here for at least another day.
