Hi all, what is your favorite movie ever? If that is too hard, you can give a list of 3 to 5 and give reasons. Here is my list, in no particular order
1. Sin City- I myself love making films, so I partly love this movie for the sheer artistic brilliance of the film. From the unique visual style to the great mood (which was probably due to Quinten Tarrentino's directing) the film is brilliant. The acting is great, and the cast is so solid that everything about this movie is good. It has funny moments, but stays very real somehow, and really makes you think, although on the surface it merely seems like a violent gorefest. Plus, it has Jessica Alba, so that right there is a sell lol.
2. Black Hawk Down- In my opinion, the best war movie ever made. This is one of the few war movies that isn't about some hopeless romance back home, or anything else. This movie is about war, and portrays in my opinion better than any other movie the complete intensity and sadness from war. You feel what the soldiers feel, and you feel sympathy for the soldiers and the Somalians alike. I think this is one of the best films ever made.
3. Green Street Hooligans- Maybe a slightly less well know film. This movie is about a group of British Soccer Hooligans. It doesn't really have much in the way of a message, but the film makes up for it with great script writing and delivery, especially the actor for Pete Dunham is exceptional. The movie also feels real in the sense that the group of friends is totally believable in how they talk and interact, and it feels less like a production movie and more like the home movie of a group of friends, which is perfect for this kind of movie. Plus, it has British accents, so you can't beat it lol.

1. Long Long Trailer staring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz - funniest movie ever
made Based on what can happen in real life! I lived in a long long trailer.. I know!!
2. 27 Dresses - funny, lighthearted,a good love story with structure, substance, intelligence and reality instead of nothing but s*e*x.
3. Prancer - a wonderful family movie about hope, love and working things out for the family. Santa's magic adds a little smile to it all!
