Hi, friends.
I am wondering when you add somedy as your friend, here on 'My Lot' and how often you do it?
Do you like to have a hundreds of a 'friends' on your friend-list or you add just few people because you don't like all this mess - I mean when you have a lot of friends on your list, sometimes it's a little bit hard to find somebody who you're looking about.
Having more friends on your friends-list have and another good side - more friends=more people who will see your discussions and maybe you will got more answers on your discussions...
Tell me what is a reason to add somebody as your friend and how often you do?

Hi Kompita!
I usually add friends here in mylot and never denied on yet! I like having many friends in the internet and real life, as I am very friendly. I don't care how many or how less do I have in my friends list. But I agree with one user saying some friends just add you for referral purposes. I hate to see those too. Apparently, I have some friend's request pending and wasn't approved by some users yet. They are probably thinking about being referred by me, but actually no!
I have some friends here now. I mean talking friends and we like helping each other and sharing stories, just like that

Hey, Yan it's good that you have talking friends as I think it's hard to find real friends or people to talk about. I mean it's hard to make some Internet friends because when we didn't know who is in the other side and it's not easy to share with others. Wish you more good friends , online, and in 'real life' and Happy My Lot-ting.
wink

As for me it's not that hard. Once you open up and would trust that person on the other line, you'll surely get into that. It doesn't matter if he talks a lie about him, as long as I am honest with what I say. I think that what matters most

I prefer to have fewer friends that I can interact with on a regular basis.I do not add people whose profile is full of moneymaking banners, those with more than 500 friends...I reckon they have enough without me... or those who have no common interests with me.

Which means that you are accepting everyone who sends you a friendship-request?

I see. But what you do when somebody sends you a friendship request and this one has 500 friends on him/her friends-list or he/she has online-earning banners in his/him profile page?
Do you accept or deny?

I've only ever added one friend in my stay here in Mylot and it was only because I really valued their opinion on a topic I started here. Every other friend on my list were just friend requests I accepted. It can get pretty messy to have a bunch of random people on your list when you don't even interact with them. Which is probably why I don't really know anyone here on mylot.

Well, I think you don't need to picky here as it's not your real life - it's just a virtual place were nobody didn't know you.

Well, I really can't believe that for all your My Lot staying here you find only one person who you like.
There are two groups of people: those who loved to add as a friend everyone who they liked and those who didn't add anybody in their friend-lists - only accepting friend requests from others.

What you mean 'danger'? How can be somebody danger here? What he/she can do to you?

I tend to add someone on here when I see one of their posts that I agree with or if they have a certain mutual interest in something to do with music or whatever. I will accept anyone's request unless I have received a rude comment from them on one of my posts or responses. Luckily I have not had to deny anyone yet but I'm sure there will be some people who have found the nasty side of mylot if there is one.

I understand what you mean. I have not denied anyone yet but if I got a really bad comment then I would not add the person.

Oh, yeah - if you think someone is a negative person while you reading hers/his posts it's normal to not accept him/her as a friend. I understand that not everyone here is a good and positive.

We, people are so different and that makes us people. I have so many really good friends/in my real life/ and we are with different thinking - but we still best friends. I mean that if you are not agree with somebody's answer that don't mean that this person can't be your friend.

hi there,
I love having new friends here on mylot and I usually accept all friend requests, I never deny anyone.lolz.. Although, it'll be best if a friend request is someone I met in the discussion I joined in or a topic I started. Because I have received random friend requests that just send links or offer some sites after accepting their invitation. Anyway, it is not a big deal though, I prefer someone that I met on a conversation.

Hi Dany.
I also hate when people ask me for friendship and after my approving they send me a referral links. But I like to have more friends here and I have never 'deny' a friendship request. Everyone is welcome on my friends-list and I am approving everyone who want to be my friend.
I also add everyone who I like and seems interesting to me. I think more friends=more fun.

hi kompitaPita why do I add someone to my friends lists, they must care about mylot and not just want to use me as a referrals as I do not do that stuff. and they must be fairly grown up so they and I may have some few things in common. I dislike turning people down and often add people who respond a lot to my '
discussions. I have too many and its hard to know how to delete i think it would have to be people who have not been here for a long time.

Receiving a lots of spams in our messages-boxes is annoying. I also hate to accept somebody's friend ask and after that this person to send me referral links... I agree with you that it's awful when someone is disturbing us but when this happens I just delete my 'friend' from my list.
Thank you for responding and happy my lot-ting and wish you more good friends.

Hi KompitaPita, I add 'a find' when I find one, someone I know I'll interact well with, that way I know the friends I have here and look forward to seeing them. I have no interest at all in having a vast friends list full of faces I don't recogonise. It by no means means I limit myself to conversing with them as we each meet acquaintainces here but I would never add anyone who does not have the courtesy of responding to all the responders on their discussions.

To not bother responding to those who take the time to respond shows a basic lack of manners. If I respond to someone and they ignore me as many here do I simply have no interest then in responding to their future discussions. Someone who does not take the time to respond to their responders is not interested in interaction so it is pretty pointless. And I've no time for those who only resond to a few and then get bored, it really is just a case of good manners to me.

Well I see ... how different we can be.
Honestly when I am posting on another people discussions I don't expect anything. Well if the one who started the discussion comment me back - I am going back to discussion and I comment again. But it's not a big deal if someone don't comment back.
Wish you luck and more really good friends.
Happy My Lot-ting.

Is that the most important thing for you when you adding a new friends? To responding to all the responders on their discussions? But why is that. I am agree with you for all what you saying, but the last one ... I just can't get it.

More friends= more reply and more money , so I like to have as more as possible friends. I never deny who request to be my friend . I don't have very more friends here on mylot ,just a few friends. If you have more friends is not a "mess" and is not so difficult to find him or her.
In conclusion i love to have as more as possible friends here on this site

Hi Relative.
I also like to have as more as I can friends here on My Lot and I think that it's better to have more friends.
I think this site is about that - to have friends, to discuss and have fun, to learn etc.
I like to have so many friends on my list from all over the world, but honestly I am writing a messages only with few of them.

I like having lots of myLot friends as they are my source of interesting discussions. I try to accept friend requests specially if I see some of their discussion, responses, or comments in the ones that I do too. Makes me think that we some sort of connection or shared interests.

Yes. When you 'know' someone from discussions that you have read and post in, and you like him than you should add or accept him / her as a friend.
