Did God answer your Prayers?

God answers all our prayers in His own way. We might think that God sometimes did not answer our prayers, and sometimes one of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayer. It is not actually an unanswered prayer but it is God's way of saying that what you want might hurt you that He don't want to give it to you. God will not give anything that will hurt nor destroy us.
God knows best, He is the God of wonders. His thoughts is greater than any thoughts of man. So the next time you ask God for something, don't think that God did not answer your prayer if things did not go according to your plan... instead ask God to lead you to His plans... have faith and keep believing that God's plan is higher than our own plan.
So did God answer your prayers?.. in what way? God bless...

Sometimes God answers my prayers. Sometimes he is not. I too think that, may be they are not good for me, that is why he did not answer. But sometimes I get confused too. What I have to get legitimately also does not come to me. My hard earned money is being cheated by some persons. How much I pray God to help in getting it? But no answer.

Very beautifully you have explained. Since two days my moods were down. I thought may be God is away from me for some reason. I have done good only to so many. But why God is silent with me? I think just to give a reply to me, he made you post this discussion and through you he gave answer. Thanks a lot krystalheart. God bless you. I think I can also bless you. I am a senior citizen.

God has His own way and time of answering our prayers. His thoughts are higher than the thoughts of man. Lets seek God's will with our whole heart and pray that He'll give what our heart desires. Sometimes unconsciously we pray for something that we think could be best for us, but our motives is all wrong. In that case, God will never give anything that could hurt nor destroy us. Friend, keep believing that God's plan is better than our own plan. Have faith on Him and never get tired on praying for God will reward all His faithful children more than anything we could imagine. God bless.

...and yes God answers our prayers in mysterious ways. He answers us in His own way and time. God's way is always greater than our ways. God's time is always in the right time for His thoughts are higher than the thoughts of man. Always keep the faith and drop any doubts and fear, for God is faithful to His faithful children.

You must be a country music fan. I believe that is a Garth Brooks song.
Yes, I, too, believe that God hears all our prayers. When we think that God has not answered our prayer, it just may be that He is saying "NO", or "Not now,"

The title of the Garth Brooks song I was referring to is "Thank God for Unanswered Prayers".

Oh I see but I am not familiar with Garth Brooks, may i know the title of his song you are referring to?... I am not into country music but I think it is also a good kind of music. I always listen to gospel music such as the Christian Band of Hillsong United and Casting Crowns, they are the one who inspired me to open this discussion and to share how Great is our God. Yes God hears and answers all our prayers. God answers our prayers in His own way and time. Always keep the faith and believe in His Majesty.

...and that is all true my dear friend. God answer our prayers in three ways... it could be a YES, NO, and WAIT answer. Yes if God knows that your motives are good and will prosper you. NO if God knows that your motives are wrong and it will hurt nor destroy you. And God will not allow anything that will hurt or destroy His children. Lastly, is the Wait answer, God thoughts are higher than the thoughts of any man that He knows when is the right time to give what we need.

O yes. Several times. I have been blessed by him whenever I needed his support. I never ask God for anything save his blessings. His love for his children is ever flowing. Those who seek, get his blessings without fail.

God answers the prayers based on what you need first and then your next need. God knows what to give when. Sometimes when things dont go according to your plan then you should rely more on him. Persevere and do not give up. You may or may not get it but you should have faith that you will get it. Bear one thing in mind. Your heart and mind should be pure. God will never allow your plans to succeed if the motives are wrong.

It is true that God answers your prayers based on your need and motives. It the motive is wrong, surely God will not allow things to happen that He knows might hurt or destroys you. But always remember to seek first the Kingdom of God, and surely all things will be given to you without asking God for it.

Its indeed true that Prayers got its own mystery in itself and its a good thing to Pray.God always responds to whatever we pray if it comes out from the core of our heart.I don't pray a lot, but when I pray I know God always listens to what i have tosay and he always does his part. When I had my first crush on a girl,it was during the holidays and haven'e seen her for days and i was so much into seeing her,i went to the Church and prayed to God with eyes closed, that I wanted to see her even if it was for a wink of an eye,you won't believe what happened.when i opened my eyes she was standing besides me standing and praying,we even had a little chit chat later that day .God even gave me a bonus.Regardless of what happened to me all I am trying to say is that God Does Know What You Need. And he is waiting for a sign from you that you really want it too.

That was so sweet. I like what you have shared to us. Thank you for sharing my friend. God is really good... all the time God is good. God gives what are heart desires if we seek for Him first with all our heart. You are right that before we confess our needs, God already know what it is... He just want us to seek for His help. God is faithful to His faithful children. He gives us everything that could help us prosper and give it in a very unexpected ways, we just need to keep believing on His gracious hand.

I believe in the power of prayer and it must be first felt inside of us.If we make a phone call continuously and ringing for a long time and we're wondering if maybe we should just hang up and try again another time. Then a voice answers and simply says, "I'm here. I'm listening to you." Communication has been established!.
The power of prayer is the constant renewal of perspective. Prayer opens our eyes. It extends our horizons. It sheds light into the darkness of our fears and our sorrows, our hopes and joys, our shame and our pride. It gives us new ways of seeing life and relationships, of understanding work and the cost of growing.I don't believe that our prayer changes God's mind or improves God's disposition. God will do what God will do.

Wonderful answer sreejithsreenivas. At the same time god takes a very long time to answer your calls, I know I may be in a queue, but sometimes I feel, that whether I am in a queue or whether I am disconnected or god does not want to take my calls.

God answers our prayers in Hid won way and in His time for God knows what could be best for us. Sometimes prayers are easily granted and sometimes it takes time for it to happen, we need a strong faith that God will surely answer our prayer... it could be a yes one or a no one, it depends on our motive. If God sees that our motive is according to His plan for us then He gave it to us... but if our motive will destroy nor hurt us, then God will not let us get hurt. He loves us more than we could imagine.

I strongly believe that HE always answer your prayers the fact that it is delayed or otherwise is that may the time is not right for us to get what we are looking for. Or it is not right for us to have it at that point nd time. HE also says if there is a delay or some prayers are not answered these will get back to us in the shape of rewards in haven. So hold tight but dont lose heart and keep praying.

Yes, most of my prayers been answered. Prayers is a matter how sincere you are in asking something from God. If the prayers is right for you God would not hesitate to give it to you. But if God didn't give what you been asking for it doesn't mean he don't care it's just that thing is not really for you. I believed that God has plan for each of us.

I just learned that there are permissive prayers and submissive prayers.
Permissive prayers are those that God willingly gives to us just as He said that anything that we ask for in prayer of faith shall be given to us.. Submissive prayers are those that no matter how much we ask for it, it won't be given to us... for the reason that God's plans are far brilliant than ours and what we are asking for may bring more harm to us than gain.. God said that He alone knows the plans He has for our future which is for prosperity and not disaster.

Hi there friend, very well said. It is written in the book of Jeremiah29:11 that God declares "For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." This is one of my life's verse. Keep believing and God will give you the desire of your heart if He knows that it will prosper you. Thank you for responding. God bless.

Yes you are right, God answer prayers in his own way. Sometimes we think that he didn't answer our prayers because he didn't give the exact thing that we wished for but later he will give something better. I already prove it, all i do is to leave him everything. God never fails me. He is always there at my side. Just have faith and believe in him and everything will be fine.

YES, all the times. He answers all our prayers all the times. When we think that our prayers don't have results, then the answer is probably "no". This is what happens most of the times. The problem was we always assume that God answers our prayers in the positive ways. Like when we pray that God let us win the lottery and we don't, then His answer is definitely "no".

yes of course my friend, when God gives us a "no" answer it only means that what we are asking is in wrong motive and that could hurt or destroy us. God would not allow anything bad to happened to His children. We should be open-minded that God will only give what is best for us and will never give anything that could destroy us. God bless.

If GOD, say yes to your prayer and gives you what you want it's GOD for you.
If GOD, say No to your prayer, it means GOD is planning something Better for you.
If GOD, says WAIT to your prayer, then keep patient, it means GOD is planning to give you the BEST.

I agree with you 100%. God has three answers to our prayers and those are YES, NO and WAIT. Most of the time people expect only the YES answer. But, little do they know that God is telling us to wait because your request is not timely. At times, God tells us NO because like you said what we want is not good for us. Though it may appear to be the best thing for us but God knows beyond what we know. His knowledge is boundless, there is no limit to what He knows. We always say that "Parents know best', but "God knows everything'. And, of course, God is using our parents to guide us. That is why it is best to always seek and follow our parents' advice.

And that is all true my friend. God commanded us to obey and respect our parents because He gives authority to our parents to guide us in our way in life. It is right that God answers include a YES, NO, and WAIT. WE always need to keep the Faith and drop every fear and doubts for God knows what could be best for us. God bless.

God is good all the time. i even consider myself as one of the most stubborn children of Christ. I knew behind my mind that I am scared of His wrath but i just couldn't help to be just human. so, i always consider myself asking for His forgiveness and blessings whenever and wherever i am. and He is so generous to give me always more than what i ask. He may give it in one way or another and not the way you would expect. but i recognize most of the time that He answers my prayers. Because God is good all the time.

God is really good all the time. He never turn His back on His children especially if we ask with all our heart. He can forgive us a thousand times from our sins if only we ask for His forgiveness with all our heart on it and asking for His help that we'll never do the same sin again. God knows everything on us, before we say it... He already knows what's inside our mind and what we need... He just want us to seek His help to give it to us in His own way and time, for God knows what could be best for us.

Hi, krystalheart! Yes, God has answered many of my prayers. When I remain calm and relaxed, that is when I start to pray. I pray and ask God for many things that I need in my life. I wait and I remain patient. I never give up, because if I do then the enemy wins. Which I don't want him to. So, I just wait on God to do what he has to do in my life. I don't rush myself, I just stay focus on my goals and wait for God to bless me like he desires to. He has blessed me to have my own place something that I have been praying for for a year now. And he has allowed my husband to stumble on jobs that will help him in paying for our rent. I know that God is real because he has answered my prayers as I have waited patiently.

Hi cream97, thank you so much for sharing your story. You have inspired me with your strong faith in God. It is true that God really does answered our prayer in His own time. God knows when is the right time to give it to us. How could a father turn his back to his children in need?... and that is... God as our Father can never and will never turn His back on us especially if we ask Him to help us in our needs. Faith is what we need to have what we want as long as our motives are according to God's plan to prosper us and not to destroy us.

God answers our prayer in many ways, in His own way and in His own time. All we have to do is ask Him in deep prayers. Just believe and trust him with all your heart and mind and strength. As to my experience, God answers my prayer. He was the one who lead and direct me in all my endeavors in life. When he answers my prayer, he did it by showing me through signs.

Oh! yes my friend. God is the only one to answer our prayer. And God always wants that you ask something from Him, He is always ready to answer whenever/wherever you are. You just close your eyes and get close your hands and just vision Him that He is sitting in front of you and start talk to Him through your fresh mind. Obviously He will answer you.

For me, the best way to reach God is by kneeling while praying. You have to pray with all your heart. Lift up everything on Him. Free your mind from doubts, instead set your mind on Him. Set your mind on things above and not on things on earth. God will answer our prayers in his own way and time.
