The software process is the set of activities and associated results which produce a software product.
Fundamental process activities:
1. Software specification: In this process the functions that the software should perform and the constraints within which the software should work is defined.
2. Software development: In this process a software is developed according to the given specifications.
3. Software validation: In this process a checking is performed in order to ensure that the developed software is what the customer wanted.
4. Software evolution: In this process, the software is evolved to meet the changing customer needs.
