Since year 2000 when I had my first desktop until not that I am using a laptop, I only bought two printers. The first printer that I bought was a Canon while the second one is an HP Deskjet D2360. Those two printer are jsut cheap ones which I only use to print documents. For my ink, I only refill them for it is much cheaper compared to buying a new one. Refilling the ink cartridge is the most practical way for me to avoid spending much on ink.

I two have to printers of all of them are HP. The other one, I use for printing ordinary documents so I refill the ink for as long as it can be refilled. The other one, I always original inks considering that I use it to print colored certificates. There were instances before that I refill, but it affected the quality of my printout.

I didn't do the refill for the inkjet. I always buy the new ink cartridge. My friend said that sometimes the refilled one doesn't work as good as those new one. The ink might leak out, or the color might not be clear. So, if you want quality printing, it would be best to buy the brand new inkjet cartridge.

Hi Doris, I have also a canon printer I love to have a refill system because it would be cheaper rather than the original one. What I am afraid for is the warranty that it could not make problem on the parts of my printer since that is the common problem as what my friends said...right now I stick on the original one rather than gambling on the refill one....nice topic...thanks

hello there friend... for my opinion, I think that refilling is not a good way for your printer... I buy the original ones even though they are slightly expensive from the refill cartridges... This is because, you might lose some printing quality by refilling... When you print the pictures or text, you will notice some difference from the original ones... Because some of the refill materials are not the genuine ones that are coming from the manufacturer itself... They might mix some materials so it looked like the original ones... I'll suggest you to stick with original cartridges unless you have little money though... have a nice day....

I use to refill y HP46 and HP78 catridge to the computer shop then still have to bring my printer before then I try to refill it by myself while my printer is still turn on that when I go back it stop to function anymore,I suspect it never get acquainted with the way i uses to be as the commercialized printer and not the original one is use damage my printer.. Also the printer model is already obsolete that I never bother to have it fix and plan to buy a new model where the ink is not injected by syringes but with the personalized kit uses for refilling...

I always re-fill ink cartridges, I do a lot of photo printing and to be honest I have seen no difference in the quality of original ink and the refilled ink. Plus I can refill a cartridge for about 50 pence or a pound for colour, where as to buy the original cartridge can cost upto 15 pounds. It's really a no brainer re-fill everytime.

I agree that it is more practical to just refill the ink cartridge... but in my case... i print documents with images... so i need quality ink... so i rarely get a refill... when i run out... i always just buy new ink cartridge...
