My husband and I are getting ready to hit the road and travel a little. We just sold off most of our posessions and we are in the process of selling our house. As soon as it is sold then we are going to hit the road in our fifth wheel travel trailer. Is anyone else out there doing this or wanting to???? How do you like it? I would love to hear some experiences.

Oh fun. This would be great. I can't do this. I don't know if I can. I am not that positive to plan ahead and do something like this. I am quite a negative person. Also I hallucinate and have schizophrenia. I am insane, and no body would trust me to go out on a trailer. I wouldn't trust myself to go out with any one person either. I don't really like anybody. Except therapy. This is why I would not go. But I really want to. And am planning to one day. This however is not practical. But perhaps it is if I change present circumstances.

I admire your spirit of adventure. I wish you luck with selling your house and getting off on your journey in a lifetime. It must have been challenging emotionally to sell off most of your possessions. I love traveling but I always keep a home base. I bought my cottage when I was nineteen years old. At age 20 I let it out and got a working holiday visa for Australia. I traveled around the world. I let it out again when I was 29 years old. I went off on a trip to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. I still go off traveling a few times a year usually and always at the very minimum once a year. I have a disabled toddler son. So far since he was born I have been with him to Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and South Africa. Good luck with your life on the road in your travel trailer.
