Better gas mileage

Everybody drives. Everybody is pi**ed off at gas prices. The Model T Ford got 25 miles per gallon in early 1900s. In 100 years we got negligible improvement. Do you think maybe the oil companies are hiding something?

I have heard of people who use old cooking oil and refine it in some way to run their cars, it is supposed to be cheaper and also more environmentally friendly, I just wonder why that hasn't hit the market yet. I see alot of those eco friendly people on TV using it and they have no complaints. I would think there would be a lot of excess oil resturaunts could donate or even sell to places to refine, wonder if that will happen.

I haven't got a clue what the oil companies are doing, but I will tell you what I do. When I drive on the highway, I do ninety kms. I get there five minutes slower, but I use half the gas getting there, than if I had driven at one hundred kms. Try it. It works.

You bet they are, and they've found an alternative fuel, don't know which one it's but since the effect could be devestating they are not giving us in one peacemeal. Electric cars here and there, hybrids and hydgrogen cara here and there.
