GTA 4, does it work with Windows XP sp 2 ?

Well i have read the minimum requirements and they say it requires Windows XP with service pack 3 or Windows Vista. I have Windows XP service pack 2, do i stand a chance of playing it like this ?
Has anyone tried to play it with service pack 2 and did it work ?

I also have windows XP service pack 2 only but i am still able to play GTA 4 in my PC.The only thing you should have is a powerful motherboard,RAM and a very good graphics card.If you have all the required things you will be able to play GTA 4 in Windows XP Service pack 2....
I have core 2 duo processor, 2 Gb ram and nvidia 512 mb graphics card.I am playing this game without nay problems...

Hi there and thanks for answering.
Well the pc i want to play it on is my girlfriend's.
It is a new top quality pc, we got it this year
The properties are more than enough:
Amd Athlon X2 5600+, 2 GB DDR2, Nvidia 9600GT with 512 DDR 3 Video Memory so the physical requirements are present :P
I will give it a try then if you say it's working for you.
