What about 2012 and Is Global warming a Scam?

Hum i believe in the talkings for 2012..And i don`t think it will be the end of the world..It will be a new period of time maybe..Evrything will change..I did not believed in the other things for 2006,2008 but for the thing for 2012 i believe..Just it sees that the world is starting to change from now,and a new good or bad period has to start soon..

you have pointed a few relevant facts. global warming is not a thing to be worried about. it is not the first time earth is going through such a situation. nor will it be the last time. we have a number of individuals and institutions who are fighting global warming. from what i have seen so far, i can say only this much: They are putting the cart in-front of the Horse. 2012 movie is purely fictional and has nothing to do with the mayan calendar. if you have watched it well, there is nothing talked about mayan calendar other than a passing remark, that too not clearly. the movie is just not worth watching as it has nothing to offer in terms of story or anything. there are vested interests who want to divert our attention from something important. if they achieve that, then they rule over us. so this global warming and related stuffs go on occupying the prime time in television channels and front page of newspapers. the year 2012 is a regular event that happens once in about 13000 years. its a cosmic event when the earth , the sun come in line with the galactic equator. it happened last time around 10500 BC. the only event that time happened was the many part of earth flooded. prior to that it was in the ice age. so it is easier assume what caused the floods. this time around, the conditions different. so a different kind of thing will happen. also it is said that lots of positive energy is emitted at the galactic equator and whatever comes across it will be impacted according to its nature. someone some where is afraid of this. may be they know a lot about it. so they want to prevent the humanity from receiving those good energy. they fear that it will change humanity forever and they stand to loose a lot. the spiritual nature of man is likely to be benefited through that event. so few religions are afraid of that, since these vested interests created and controls those. they have employed millions of people to divert attention and trillions of dollars are spent in churning out false theories and use media extensively to create confusion and hatred amongst humanity. Be Awake. Be Aware. You are very special. Do not listen to others, but listen to the SELF within you.

Global Warming (and Global Cooling)and Climate Change are not scams, indeed both have been happening since the earth began billions of years ago. What is the scam is the cause of it. \\\\many scientists will tell you that it is caused by Greenhouse Gas, and man made CO2 is the biggest Greenhouse Gas, that is because they totally ignore Water Vapour, which actually accounts for over 98% of Greenhouse Gases. Indeed the U.S. Environment web site actually states that Water Vapour is the biggest Greenhouse Gas (although they don't give a figure), and ignore it because it is totally natural. There are many other scientists who do include Water Vapour (these are usually derided as 'Climate Change Deniers'). Check the internet - the truth is out there. CO2 actually accounts for less than 1% of Greenhouse Gases. The other thing is that the distance between the earth and the sun varies in a 100,000 year cycle, sometimes it is closer sometimes further away, this will also have an effect on Global Warming/Cooling.

I am concerned with the environment. I think global warming is true. Try watching national geographic channel or discovery channel for you to know the truth. We are indeed will be an endangered specie

I think the safest conclusion to draw is that global warming is inconclusive. A few decades ago people were worried that the temperatures were dropping and that we were heading for the next ice age. Unfortunately, we don't remember our history very well and things can very quickly be "out of sight, out of mind." There are "respected" scientists who fall on both sides of this issue and the problem is that we may never have a definitive answer. Remember, historical science such as carbon dating is based on models that we have created, using variable that we assume are correct. That doesn't mean that they are wrong, but it also means that we don't have any video of people checking the thermometer thousands of years ago. We must also remember that scientists are still people. They make mistakes, have assumptions, hold onto biases, and want to belong within their own community.

the movie 2012 was fiction . but the Mayans prophesied that there would be a catastrophic happening that could change the human race for ever or even completely destroy it all together. this is set to happen in 2012. but whether you choose to believe this is a matter of personal opinion. global warming is not fiction however. the proof is there for all to see. the weather i becoming unpredictable, the ice shelves inn the polar continents are becoming smaller by the year.

Well.... two topics but here goes - yes I believe global warming is a scam (nobody has proven anything real to me showing it isn't, nor have I experienced any climate change that *I* can prove showing there's anything other than ordinary ups and downs) and I know I still plan to be here in 2012 and then I will be laughing at everybody who thought the world was going to end in 1984 and again in 2000. Perhaps all those people who TRULY believe such scams would like to donate all their worldly possessions to me right now since they really think we won't be here in 2012? Anybody? No? Well if you aren't willing to, then you don't really believe the world will end. That's good.

i still don't know if these global warming is fake or over exaggerated or blown out of proportion. but i think that we better be sure than sorry. that i think that we are actually seeing the effects of global warming already. like the fast melting of the glaciers on the north pole and other cold countries, so i think that one proof that there is indeed dangers in global warming. but what i don't know if man is really responsible for it. i mean yeah man contributed to global warming. but i wonder if we man didn't contribute to global warming, they also say that the earth goes to phase of global warming even without the help of man. whether we like or not.

2012 totally fake! Can't you see it is just a movie? But for Global Warming, yeah, I can see the impact and it is just true for me. You see the numbers they gave about carbon dioxyde (CO2) amount released are increasing day by day because of wild tree cutting, extreme smoke pollution, etc. And if you try to relate it with the climate situation right now, it would make sense. Just recently, there is an iceberg piece seen near New Zealand and the diameter is just big. What's with that? Not to mention such disaster like flood happened because of unplanned development (like in Jakarta, they actually built housing near the dam area. Which shouldn't be allowed. What's with it??) I read some respond above me, and they give clear and good explanation about many theories related to 2012 and global warming. So what can we do? For me, it is nothing bad for us if we start to care about the nature a little bit. Stop using electricity when we don't need it. Throw trash into trash can. Start planting tree to make green area. Start using green appliance, etc.

i doubt global warming a scam. The government is always lying to us anyway haven't you seen 2012? It's not a true story but that could seriously happen. Everyone for them seleves and in the movie the government knew that there wasn't something right. That the world might end for many but they did nothing only the rich people were safe and the most important smart people. I try not to worry about rumors i believe what i believe.

Global warming is not a scam, because we are experiencing it now. Climate changes, strong typhoons, great floods are the signs of global warming. They said that it is the pay back of the nature because of the wrong things that we had done to them. But I am confused on 2012, I can say that what happened in that movie is the strongest effect of global warming. 2012 is just a prediction of Nostradamus but we don't have to disregard this for some of his predictions come in real life. If 2012 is true, I guess i will live my life to the fullest and do everything that I want to do because it is very near and i believe if that time comes. No one will be able to survive.

I don't believe it is a scam but I also don't believe it is happening. I certainly don't accuse anyone who believes that Global Warming is happening of any kind of scam.

I have doubts as far as the 2012 prediction is concerned. On the other hand i believe that global warming is true. Signs are everywhere that mother nature is now unleashing the effects such as stronger typhoons, odd weather, sea level rising and many more. But they effects is not sudden as depicted on the movie, instead it's going to be a slow process. But god is great i'm sure he'll come up with s few surprises here and there. Cheers!

The movie 2012 is only the science fiction,but the global climate is changing worse and worse.Especially the recent years in the global more place it had happend many more disasteres, such as the 2004 Indonesia tsunami and the 2008 China Wenchuan earthquake.So we should protect ourselves earth and the climate environment.
