Christmas presents - several christmas present
United States
December 6, 2009 8:33pm CST
Good day mylotters. I have to share something with you that is very funny and cute. My youngest grandson(my avatar) went to his dad's this past weekend for a visit. His dad lives with a woman and my grandson does seem to like her. The first thing he saw was the christmas tree and the presents. So while she was out of the room on Saturday he walked over and picked up one of his presents. She walked in about that time and told him to put it back. Before he did he shook the present. Later that day he came to visit with us for a few hours while dad was at work. He told us that he knew what one of his presents was at daddy's. When ask him what was it..He calmly replied "A box of donuts"..LOL...LOL... I'm still laughing about that. The look on his face was serious and he likes that ideal too of it being a box of donuts. Just wanted to share with you a funny moment of ours with him. Thanks.

Oh my goodness, that is so cute. I would love to see that on that old show by Bill Cosby "Kids Say the Darndest Things". When I was reading that, I was picturing my youngest nephew. When he was a little younger, I could see him saying something like that. Reminds me of the time when he said "If my birthday is before yours, then why are you older than me." He was referring to his birthday falling in January, and mine in December. I love it when they are at that logic age. They are always trying to figure stuff out. It sounds like your grandson is such a little cutie, just like his pic. Hope you have a great day!

Thanks kidd He is a charcter when he wants to be. He does come off with some of the silliest things. What makes it so cute is that they are being honesty with their questions. I can't wait until he opens his gifts and see what comes out of that mouth then. There may be a new discussion in the near future on that....LOL Keep smiling.

Hi ms What it is he loves those crullers donuts. Mom doesn't buy them and dad usually don't either. Me and Papaw know that he loves them so we try to have him some here when he comes over. This time we wasn't expecting him so there was none here. I called dad and told him to get the baby a bag of donuts and wrap them up for christmas. So he going to do that the day that they get to open their gifts.LOL Yeah I would love to have some donuts myself too.

All kids love donuts and maybe the box was the same size as a donut box... I for one would love a box of donuts and a cup of coffee on Christmas morning. They don't even have to be wrapped. I do love the things the young one say and how they say them. It's almost always something we never expect. And they wonder why we think what they said is funny. Reminds me of the show "Kids Say the Darndest Things" with Art Linkletter. I just hope he does get a fresh box of donuts on Christmas morning...Thanks for sharing, it gave me a laugh and I sure did need one..

Hehehe, that's certainly cute. Though I was wondering for a few minutes how he could relate the sound he heard from a box of donuts? Hehehe.. Well, only a child knows how to relate those I guess.

Yeah really..LOL..I never thought about that. Kids can think things out before any adult can sometimes. He is such a cutie pie and uses such big words at time. We always laugh with him when he is around. Thanks for the kind words. Have a nice day and keep smiling.

That is a sweetheart! He would love a box of donuts; it goes to show that if we didn’t spend a lot on money on kids they would not care because they can be happy with the simplest things a lot of the time! I remember shopping with my daughter when she was around two and a half or so; as I was looking at some shoes she yelled out quite loudly, “No mummy put them back, you know we’re broke, they cost too much money!”

LOL..That was cute but Im sure you wanted to put a sock in that little mouth..LOL I know what you are saying that will say anything that comes to their minds. Im surprised that Noah doesn't come up with something like sometimes. He will say to me "mamaw don't spend papaw's money". Thanks for sharing your story with me. That was very cute. Have a nice day and as always Keep Smiling.

Well, I like kids. I think that they are so cute, and adorable at any moment. I would love to play with them the whole time. Watching them fool around with many stuffs, like remote control; pillow; car toys; etc..... Sometimes, they would hand them to me, and mumbling something I couldn't even understand, but they are simply innocent and cute.

I like the way that you put that clorissa..innocent..That they are very innocent. I know with my grandson he was so serious about what he saying that he looked confused at why mamaw was laughing so hard. I just told him that I thought he said that very cute like. Have a nice day and keep smiling.

Hi rose, hope you explained that if it was doughnuts they'll be a bit mouldy and inedible by christmas. You can break it to him gently that it is most likely socks. It was my ten year olds name day yesterday and one of my friends had made him the most super card I'd ever seen. A little while back we were at a party, the sit down at long table kind and it was a very hot night. My son fell asleep sitting upright in his chair and my friend must have taken a pic of him sleeping with his mouth open a little. The next thing is the cake arrives, my son instantly shot awake with eyes the size of saucers and another pic was taken. She'd very cleverly put the first pic on the front of the card to really annoy him then it opened to the other one. I'll definitely be preserving that one.

What a neat ideal for a card. I bet it was very cute too. Im not a creative person like that. I wish I was though. I called his dad after he went back home and told him what the little guy had said. He gets the boys on the night before christmas eve. So he is going to go and get a box of donuts and wrap them up so he will have them to open.LOL Thanks for sharing about your son. Have a nice day. Keep smiling.
