The ideal Father's Day gift of course varies with the man in question. Not all men like sports or power tools. My stepfather, for example, really likes hot sauce and every year I buy him a bottle. This of course wouldn't be appropriate for someone who didn't like spicy food. My advice is think about what your dad likes, then go with that. He'll appreciate it more than your stereotypical tie or cologne.

I give my father in law, what he likes. He is into classic cars so I try to find something similar to the classic cars he have.

You can go classical and give your dad a tie or a watch... Sunglasses may be cool, too. If you know your dad has some particular passion, just try to feed it a little! :)
