I *love* Shoppers' Hotline. Basically, you scan your groceries with their scanner and each week you report your purchases to them. They give you points and you cash the points in for cash. They have a sweepstakes, too. I've been a member since 2007, and we've earned awards about three times already, and we won two prizes from them.
It's pretty cool thinking that are getting paid for it and we are allowed to participate in their program. Has any myLotter participated with them? What do you think? Would you like to participate with them? Just let me know.
Cheers! Happy myLotting!

Hello! I believe it's only for USA only. They send their software (CD and scanner). You install the CD software, you hook up their scanner via USB. You configure it the first time by sending a test run. After that you can scan your groceries. When you first start they said you can just scan some of your major purchases (we scan most of ours). You connect the scanner each week, and upload the data. Each week they give you so many points, and after you have so many points you can cash in to get a reward added on a prepaid card.
It does take patience. Moreover, you have to be persistent. We have our scanner in the kitchen so we never forget.

Hehe... Sounds like shopping online, then you get point, when your points are many enough, you can use it change other things with free.
But I don't believe most of small stores, most of time, they send you bad quality products, unless some big stores. For sure, your country is not different from ours, more safe, I think, lol!

I have never heard of Shoppers Hotline, but do a similar program, called Homescan. I hope you have done well with it. I have an awful time remembering to scan everything.

Yes, I know about Homescan. We always remember to scan because we have the scanner in our kitchen. Moreover, we are a family of three so one of us is bound to remember. We always send the data on Sundays, the last day you can send it. Sometimes we send it on Saturday.
I believe Neilsen Ratings sponsor the Homescan, right? If you keep forgetting to scan you could take your scanner with you to the store and scan each item as you go. You could put a sign on your refrigerator to remember to scan.

I was offered something like this once- they sent me a scanner- but it was just too much work and too time consuming for me to do.
I am glad you enjoy it and have gotten rewards and prizes for it.. Very good.

We enjoy doing it. I do know it can be boring, perhaps you didn't like all that scanning. It's good to know what you're getting into. I like it because we can earn money and prizes. Thanks for responding.

I think it's worth it because we get to receive rewards and we have the chance to win prizes. You have to scan your purchases and report it weekly. As someone said above, it could be boring, but I'm sure some people think this website is boring. To us, it's pretty cool!
If you have any further questions be sure to ask.
