Is mercy killing can be considered a crime?

For me I am not against with mercy killing or euhanasia. But for some reason it triggers me of. Personally I don't have experience yet but I have read in some articles and have watched on tv that is why I gained knowledge about this. Perhaps, those who have practised it have given up the lives of their family members so easily. I cannot condemn but provided that your faith is strong. Miracles do happen. And so our loved ones who experience it at present can recover anytime soon as long as we hold on to the power and will of God. May I know some insights here pls.
