Oh yes, by sleeping you tend to forget your problems temporarily, anyway at least when you wake up you have a much clearer mind ready to understand situations, that can less your stress.

I must agree with you on that one! I find the same thing is true as long as I allow myself to fall asleep rather than letting my mind go a mile a minute because it keeps me awake! If I allow myself to let go of the things I'm thinking about and worrying about when I'm awake, I can easily go to sleep. When I get a good night's rest, then I can wake up in the morning and deal with all of it then! I think sleep is so good for the mind. We all could use a little more stress release!

I don't agree. It depends on particular person's mood.As for my,I like melody, old songs or eating a pile of junk food.sleeping is okay, but It sometimes can't make me relaxed totally.

Hi Rooparaj,
If this is true then people will not have any problem of taking meds and paying a lot to regain health, we just need to have a good rest and sleep. People are just so busy and hyper that even at night where it's time to rest, people still exhaust self to work more...to earn some more. i hope we will be kind enough to ourselves that we give ourselves the right amount of sleep!

hi rooparaj4u...welcome to mylot. Yes sleeping is a good stressbuster. But there are some who prefer other things to do to relieve from stress like do swimming or shopping...But for me I like to go shopping when I am stress out to relax.

Me to I find sleeping is a helper at relaxing yet it gets me in a bad habit of wanting to sleep in that irregularity more and more so then I stay up later at night when the next day I need to wake up super early. What would we do if humans didn't have to sleep anymore? Weird if you think about it.
Thanks for sharing. Stay warm.
