I am a undergraduate students who want to go to the US to study the major of Public Relation. Now I have encountered a lot of questions. First, some people said this major is really a pratically major and it needs some experience in the revelent company. But I have only a little experience in the major. Second, some people told me choose this major I need to choose the university which in the downtown in the big cities of US, such as NYC, Boston, LA, and so on. Because in these cities I can esaily find a intern job that will help my study. Finally, people said there are a lot of people who have been doing the PR job and there almost no free space for the international students. International students's writting and speaking skill are worse than the native speaker and it is really a chanage for them to find a job in the PR market. So, what's you guys opinion in my choose? Do I need to have some experience before I go to having my studying or I go there stright and then find a intern job? Does the big city necessary? Thank you for your opinion.
