Do you sleep with the lights on or with the lights off?

When I was younger, I can not sleep without the light on, I am just a very scared child then haha. But there was an instance where the light in our bedroom got busted, so I had no choice but to sleep with the lights off. Since then, I didn't mind whether the lights were on and off, I can sleep either way. But now, I cannot sleep with the lights on haha, it had to be dark in order for me to sleep comfortably. How ironic.

I sleep with lights off. My son would not sleep if lights were on, even the TV. So, I had to miss late night shows/movie just so he could sleep since we're sharing the same bed... As for me, I really dont mind if the lights were on/off. but I had this instance when I was young, that I cannot barely breath due to darkness or maybe I was just having a bad dream that time...Its as if darkness is killing me, after which, I tried to sleep with lights on but then I also tried to turn off the lights sometimes during those days. ^__^

I don't sleep with the lights on but there is always some form of light in the apt that is on. A candle, living room. There is never total darkness I find it uncomfortable. I do sleep with the lights on when I watch scary movies though. lol.

I sleeps without lights, so that the energy will save, and my sleep is so good and feeling better when i wake up.

I am used sleeping with the lights on. I am more comfortable with it compared to lights on. I am not afraid of the dark though, I am just used to it. So if there's blackout or electricity shortage or anything like that, I always have plenty of candles in my room.

Hi. Good thing I could sleep with lights ON or OFF. But I always sleep with the lights OFF. This is just to conserve electricity. Sometimes, I sleep with the lights ON just because I fell asleep while reading books.

it had always been a source of wonder for me how people can sleep with the lights on. or even have their bed near a window with light drapes. i mean it looks good on magazines but you're not afforded that extra sleep that you just crave in some days.
