Poverty is experienced by most people nowadays especially in the third world countries.But sometimes it can also experienced by anyone.I have this experienced this day with one of my clienteles.I was wondering why she looks uneasy.She can't participate in the class activity because it seems something bothers her.After giving the activity to the class, I talked separately to this learner.I asked what's wrong and she said that she has stomach ache.As I continue to interview her,I have found out that she didn't eat her breakfast and drank coffee instead.She didn't eat her snacks during recess.So I told her to have her lunch instead, but she responded that she'll not eat because what she has is only a fare in going to school and so she won't eat again for lunch.She belongs to a below average income family.To my pity, I gave her money to buy food at the canteen.I understand her, because I also experienced her situation of being poor when I was young. Have you experienced not to eat before because of financial problem?
