Where do you spend more time on reading, is it in your room, sofa bed, office, public transportation(train, bus)computer or anywhere? I like reading on my room, I love sitting on my bed because it's very comfortable and I can concentrate more. How about you?

Me either, I hate to be distracted every time I read, especially while I'm reading a good book. That's why I love to read on my room. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

We are the same. I also like to read in my room. Usually, I lie down facing the bed. It's so comfortable. And I like reading without interruptions, that's why I always close my door whenever I'm reading.

Hi care!
I love to read on my bed, if it is possible and next comes sofa in my list. I am least interested in reading a bood in a bus, because due to constant jerky movements, I just cannot concentrate. However, if you are traveling in a train on a long journey, when can lie down on a berth and can enjoy one's reading. Reading is a passion with me and if I am waiting somewhere for somebody and I've a book, I can wait for that person for hours together..........lol!

I don't like either reading on a bus, I got headache. I don't really know why, maybe perhaps the movements. It's always good to bring a good book while you're having a long journey. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Any place works for me as long as I'm comfortable. But the best place for me would be my room, where theres little noise and no disturbances. I could lie in my bed for hours just reading.

I love to read when I am lying down on my bed. I feel well rested and I get to eat a snack while reading my favorite books or magazines here. If I am at the mall, I then enjoy reading in a bookstore or a coffee shop would be my second choice. Especially nowadays the weather is so cool, I would definitely go out and hangout in a coffe shop.

I am so sad when i join the discussion, for a long time, it seems i have forgot to do something that i want to do or like to do. In past many years, i am always busy with working and family. I lost myself for a long time. I know reading is a good hobby and i think i need to build up some interesting to make living rich and colorful including reading. Now, it seems i better like to read on computer.

Oh, that's a bit bad. But now you seems to be back. Yeah, reading is a good hobby. We can learn a lot from it, it enrich our mind and build our confidence. Every time you have extra minutes, while taking a short break, you can read a good book or anything that you like, or reading on line. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Yeah, I agree with you, our room is the best and most comfortable place to read. The atmosphere of our room makes us able to live and travel along the story of the book that we read. Because it has less distraction from outside. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

TO tell you the truth, I love to read anywhere and everywhere, whether it is in the toilet or on my bed. I love reading on public transport, because you can avoid other people's gazes, and in class, so you can block any boring lectures out, and also in the bath tub if I could because it is so fun to do something like that.
I can concentrate basically anywhere and everywhere, because I love books too much. :)
Cheers, Nameless_

Oh, wow! you're amazinggggg. I haven't tried reading on a toilet, but almost always in a class I read a good material when the professor can't get my attention. I love to read as well, but I'm not comfortable to read in any place. My room is the best place to indulge myself on reading. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

When I'm deep in a book it doesn't matter where I'm at. I can read anywhere, except for outside. It's really hard to read outside on my front porch because the glare of the sun hurts my eyes, even while wearing sunglasses. Still, I will find myself outside reading while waiting for my daughter to get off the bus. Now if I'm on the sofa reading, I tend to get sleepy, so I try not to read while laying down.

I like to read in my room, because when my eyes get tired I will just lie on my bed and sleep and when I wake up I will continue reading it . I also read in the couch, when I am tired of reading I will just turn on the television and watch and when I get bored I can simply read the book again. When I know I will be waiting for a friend whenever we meet, I carry a book with me and read while waiting for her. I used my time wisely.

Reading in bed is a good way to fall asleep! It is probably the most comfortable place to read though which makes for a difficult situation if faced with reading something important that is not merely for pleasure.

I do most of my reading in my living room. Sometimes I will read in my bedroom just before I go to sleep.

Hi Careguarden!
I like to read just about anywhere except in the car if I am not driving. It makes me feel queasy. Back in the day when Harry Potter first graced the bookshelves I would read the book walking down the street not being able to put it down for the life of me. A couple of near misses with lamp posts still didn't stop me.
I am a total emersed reader so noise or any background activity does bother me but I do have to pick my time to read carefully as once a book (particularly a Terry Pratchett) is in my hand I pretty much read it from cover to cover (that's if its a good one, there are some that have really disappointed me in Terry Pratchett's range).
I used to have a rule of never reading on holiday as I see books, and movies for that matter, as a form of escape, so I reasoned if I am on holiday I need to be 100% in the present. That all went out of the window when the final Harry Potter was released. Had to have it and had to read it no matter where I was and I did.
