Fair result or fraud?

Hello myloters! I have a short question for you regarding corruption at the highest level. What would you believe if a presidential candidate (who was president before the ellections) was to come out and give a speach pronouncing his victory before the urns close? Wait,I'm not done yet! He comes out, with a very composed face, with no joy or enthusiasm, stating,( before the preliminary poles and statistics to be even announced!!)that the ones who voted for him should be at ease , that he will win. Wait, there is more. A few minutes after from his declaration, all of the statistics and poles come out naming him as the looser, with 1-2% behind his adversary. (this happens before the numbering of the votes, when the urns closed and statistics bureaus gave preliminary results) His consiliers state their own count of the votes name him a winner with 50,3%. The second morning, after the actual count he wins with the exact number he stated the night before, despite all the poles and statistics made before and after the urns closed. How come his guys where the only ones who knew the actual results? How could all the others be wrong and only his own bureau right? Could the fact that he was president the mandate before "influenced" the ellections "a bit"? Or...to cut it short. If you were to witness such a display of confidence, despite the odds and that man woulnd't even show some joy for the results, what would you think? Fair, or fraud?

Hello, shibham. Yes, unfotunatelly I have witnessed it and I still am. The man I was talking about is our president for the next 5 years.I don't know how we'll get out of this one but it's bad! I can't believe how many people this man fooled. And how many rejoice his victory! I mean, come on, just for the fact he made fraud in the ellections he whould be behind bars! You can't joke with things like this : with the peoples' choice and their fate. Plus all the money spent for this whole sharade giving us the false impression of being able to choose.

There will always be the confidence or the composure in any candidate both for elections or other contests. It doesn't mean they are cheating, it simply means that they composed themselves to winning and losing isn't part of their plan. When you're in the game of contests and these events, you psyche yourself up because most people believe in 'you are what you think you are'. So, with regards to cheating or fraud, we would never know. Neither could we assume it just because they can show others that they are composed or confident.

Hello, laydee! Thank you for your response! But as I said in my post, the reason I believe he cheated is not because he was composed and calm. It is because he annouced his victory with such calm as if he already knew the results. He's a very agitated man usually. I just don't know that to believe anymore. Everyone yells democracy and they use it against us. Apearenlty the other contestant alredy fiiled a fraud complaint in justice. Very ugly situation! Thanks again for your response and happy myloting!

Hi, Reyachan I would think that it was fraud. I mean he thought that he was going to win the election and he did. Or he just don't want others to see his reaction to winning. He feels that if they saw him all happy then they would know that he was looking forward to winning. When they see that he is not happy and just shows a composed face, then voters would think that he was not making such a big deal about it. But he has won and he shows no emotion. I think that it is fraud, because he would like to win, but he don't want others to see his true colors.

Hello, cream97! Thanks for joining us in this discussion. As I said above, he's usually the agitated type that loves to enjoy his victory and rub it in others faces...And now, before the voting ended he came an annouced the exact score with which he won against all statistics! That's what's actually bugging me. Despite what all the statistics and preliminary result were showing, he KNEW the final score... Thank you for your opinion and I hope to see you arround!

I would think he had some way in, that he knew it didn't matter who voted. I would say he's a fraud, mainly because he knew the exact results beforehand. Maybe, if he was just really confident, and said, no no, I will win, I will win. Then I might not jump to the conclusion that he was a fraud, but I might still be suspicious.

Hello, themdno and thank you sharing your thoughts. You are right, if it were just a reservate expression of joy and not certainty on his face and in hos actions I would have probably been unsure as well. But in this case it's too flashy... See you arround!
