In one of our Sunday's newspapers over 135 men met violent death in the month of November and this one month. You may say this is not happening in my country but but statistics show that men from all over the world are at risk. The alarning thing it that these are young men and this is a worry for our society. How do you feel about this happening? What is the future for our women folks who are not married as yet and many do not have families. What do you think can be done to avert this? Doesn't this spell gloom for our societies?

Hi audrey, I think that men won't become an endangered species, but surely over time our numbers (since I'm male) will decrease. You do realise that most of this is because men take part in more violent acts than women, such as gang wars, and regular war, like in Afganistan. I mainly blame these facts on the ever decreasing numbers of males on the planet, I'm pretty sure that if these were stopped more people wouldn't have to risk their lives and less people will die just because of some stupid war. Regarding your second question, I'm pretty sure that it won't be that devistating, most women will get married and have families, it's just decreasing by abit every time. To avert this, the stopping of war obviously and other dangerous activities. Hope I aswered your questions and have a good day.

Borg, thanks for your response. I appreciate your viewpoints but the women will not have much of a choice. More than one person agree with you.

hi audrey7, Men are the leading in that case because men are more distinctively involved in those activities as compared to women..although there are also women involved in crime and violence but not as greater than men, so possibly there would also be scarce for men in regarding of women population too.. I think that is the way of life..We really cannot control the people around us and no matter how men are said to be endangered at all,, We are reminded of the new born infants that will be in replace of those lost.. So, I believe it is just a cycle of how people propagate in this world.. Hundreds to millions baby were born per day, For those single persons, not to worry a lot because of the big population living in this world , in different countries and races, It is possible still to find and have find the possible partner of your life..

if happens everywhere in all walks of life, people die and are killed not just men but women and children. 135 in the month of november what happened in the other 10 months though ?? also I wouldn't hold any weight to what is happenning in newspapers especially if they are anything like the ones we get in the uk (totally un-reliable).

Benny thanks for your response. I realise that you see the dilemma because you question what happens in the other 10 months. To answer it is even worst; The statistics can be trusted because most of this comes over the news and this is reported situation. Plus there are other newspapers with other perspectives and verify the numbers.
