You may feel sorry
because whatever you do for him
he never appreciatived it
not because he doesn`t care
he just pretends not knowing it
or he doesn`t want to know it at all
you think that you love him so
even that no one can love him as much as you
maybe you are wrong
you care him so much and think that
no one can do it as good as you
but you are not the one he want
so please let it go
it is really painful
but you can manage it one day
keep on smiling

You have clearly explained what exactly the feeling one goes through if one is in love and did not get reciprocated. Of course yes. If we love someone so deeply and that person did not reciprocate it in a similar manner, it is painful. But we can not expect that person to love us because we love him so much. It is individual likes and dislikes. May be we are not the one he is looking for and is in love
