How do you make your pet happy?
How often do you buy him tasty things like juicy bones (for dogs)or a new toys for him to play with?
My pet has so many toys that I think some of the kids even doesn't have.
Today I gave to my dog a very juicy bone, he was so happy...
Of course, I could give him bones more often but then he would gain a lot of extra weight...that we don't want!!!
Ho about you - how ofter do you make your pet happy?

My dog loves playing fetch, so i just go out there and pretend to throw something and she chases it. Then, realising what i did, she went running after me and i threw a tennis ball past her and she chased it. my dog loves fetch, my cat ? attention my other cat likes being left alone and we dont know what my old dog likes... but try playing with it with a special toy or find what it likes is what i would do ?-smiley face

Hello there,We have 3 cats at home and it is so easy to make them happy. They love chicken and chicken livers. I hardly give them can food. I go to grocery and buy fresh fish and cook them at home with little bit of garlic, onion and salt. My cats are very unhappy if I feed them can food. The only time I'll give them can food is when I am so busy with work.

These must be very lucky cats eating just home made food ;) :) :) My dog likes home made food as well but is eating just a food for dogs because she has an allergy so we are very careful when it is about eating!!! Happy mylotting and thanks for sharing your experience!!!

The first thing is to feed him well. I used to work in a pet shop and I know all the things people who came in there used to say. You feed your pet well. With quality food, that is, not leftovers or other scrappy stuff and then you exercise him and give him lots of fresh air and outdoors. Given those requirements and no cruelty from anyone and you should have a happy pet.

Yes, I think it is really easy to make dogs happy because they are quite happy already from their nature, just playing, looking, after them, feeding and they are already happy :) and if they can sleep in a couch or bed then it is such a pleasure for them :) have a great day!!!

My dogs enjoys a good belly rub. I never miss a day doing that cause it makes them really happy and relaxed. If I'm busy with work and with other household stuff, I make it a point that I should at least spend 10 - 15 miniutes of quality time with them per day. I treat them as my babies that's why I make it a point to spend time with them. Giving them doggie treats are also one of the things I do which makes them really happy.

Hello! I treat my dog as well like a baby. If I would live in a house, I would have several dogs. Sometimes I feel that my dog is bored and she wants to pay quite lot. I try to play with her a lot but I think if I would have for example one more dog then they could play together. ;) My dog is a very friendly and happy dog! :)
Good luck and thanks for sharing your opinion! ;)

haahaa, yes socks...
I have a funny story: as in the mornings we go to a socks box to choose ones to wear today, our dog is always there when we are there...so once I told her you have to choose socks for my boyfriend today which to wear, and guess what she took?
She took my tights from my socks box he-he...:)

my pets, well, i only have one now, but were and are all happy because they were and are loved, spoiled, comfortable, and relaxed. my cat just enjoys playing with his scratch posts and boards, cat tree, window seats, couch and bed, and just running around and jumping around and playing with me. he sometimes teases me to get my attention if i am ignoring him because he wants to play. but i always see him sleep on his back in weird contorted poses, relaxed and happy in his happy dreams. he enjoys being indoors because he is happy with the person he lives with.

i have 2 indoor cats who get bored very easily. i will buy them toys and they arent interested. instead, they enjoy wrapping paper, boxes, and shoe laces...and the occasional tugging of my ponytail. it wasnt until recently that i realized other ways to keep them happy, which is to make my bed every morning. it turns out if im in too much a rush in the morning to make my bed, my cats wont nap. however, if i do they are napping when i stop in for lunch and a lot less pestering when i come home from work in the evening. they also have specific treats they like which are greenies and crunch n clean.

I have 6 rabbits, a cat and a dog. My rabbits live in 3 different cages, but sometimes I take them out of their cages and let them play on the kitchen floor. They enjoy running around on the floor, and that makes them happy. They also get happy when I give them their favourite food like carrots or cucumbers. My cat gets happy when she gets her favourite food. I have bought toys for her, but she isn't interested in them, food is the only thing that really makes her happy My dog gets happy when I buy him bones or news toys. He has a lot of different toys and he enjoys playing with them.

By giving into her (lol). Preiti gave us a hard time when she was a pup. There is nothing in the house that she has not destroyed. But now she has calmed down and there is nothing we will not do to make her happy. She sleeps with us ofcourse on her own bed, she gets to play - her favourite is the ball that looks like a rag! She gets her pedigree, her milk and ofcourse cooked chicken. She is never leashed unless we want to brush her, or give her a bath. In other words she is a happy pet throughout the day.

We have a Saint Bernard so he was born happy, and he is easy to please..if we scratch him under his chin he sighs with contentment. His favorite treat are these huge cookies shaped liked bones that I get at the feed store. I keep them in a tin on the counter, if you ask him if he wants a cookie he will go to the tin and sit until you get him one.
Brushing him is one of his favorite things too, as soon as he sees one of us with his brush he will come and stand in front of us waiting to be pampered.

My dog as well likes when we scratch her back or under cheek:) sometimes I do her a little massage, till she thinks it's enough then she starts to kick me with her lifted leg like a kick-boxer it's so funny!!!
And I have some cookies in a bone shape as well from a pet shop :)

Hi!
We have a cat called FloJo and the way we make her happy is to keep her warm (she loves lying next to the radiator), feed her when she wants to be fed, make sure she ALWAYS has water, empty her litter-tray regularly because she hates muck on her paws...even outside, and (this is most important) tell her we love her and give her hugs when she wants them, not the other way round cos she gets mad!
She does have toys but her favourite pastime seems to be charging up and down the stairs and around the house, hence her appropriate name of FloJo.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience with your cat. That's a nice name FloJo... I think cats feel good being alone and being in a company with people, however, dogs need to feel that they are not alone...
Have a great day!!!

I buy my american staffordshire terrier (daisy) plenty of food and bones. She LOVES bones. It keeps her from destroying all of my things I want to keep and it keeps her happy at the same time. Her other favorite toy is my socks. I also keep her happy with plenty of water so she will not try to drink out of the toilet.

I love my pets... they are three white fluffy spitz. Two females and one male. I always give them a lot of hugs and kisses, I think they like it... I can see that they are happy whenever I gave them my hugs and kisses. I always talk to them too and play with them. Sometimes I think that dogs can understand us especially if we established that bonding relationship with them. Like you my friend, whenever I get home, I make sure to bring something for them like those juicy bones you have mentioned. Dogs really love bones more than any kind of foods. For the summary, I make my pet happy with hugs, kisses, talks, and bones everyday.
