Are you having to cut back on Christmas spending this
year? I have not had much of a Christmas in seven years.
I finally got my disability and I hope to get my back
pay before Christmas. Then I will have a good Christmas.
How will your Christmas be this year.
Have a great day.

Oh yes, I have to cut back to nothing this Christmas....I am on disability now for 9years and am also supporting my best friend. She is still not working since moving back here over a year ago. She ran out of money in September and had to move in with me. Now I have absolutely no money for gifts. She doesn't drive so I have to take her to fill out applications and will have to take her to work if she ever gets a job. This just stinks and I wish I could go back to work now....Oh well what can I do. Her family owes her all kinds of money but they just don't have enough to give her any....yea right...but I do??? Oh pooh, well have a good Christmas. I hope you get your money soon.
Brightest blessings,
Mari

Thank you, I'll get through Christmas...I just will make some things and have a few ideas that won't cost for immediate family and kids of my friends..
To me the Joy of Christmas is giving someone a gift they appreciate...it really doesn't have anything to do with money to me...but giving a nice gift is much easier when you have some money...lol
Have a Blessed Christmas,
Mari

we to will be cutting back this year as money bit tight we usualy have money after xmas as the bakery i work at is quiet until after xmas
i wont use credit to fund xmas either as we all know how easy it is to overspend with credit & can end up in trouble & be paying back for years not worth it
anyway hope everyone has a good xmas & remember its not just about the pressies
making memories is alllways better as you have these for ever

Christmas is ok for me this year. I can't spend much money on people this year like I did last year. Between bills nad school all my money is gone so I'm lucky I even have money to spend on people. But With this weeks pay check and my check on xmas eve I should be okay on getting gifts for people. I have 2 people done I just have to buy for 4 more people. I should be able to do it!

I don't really know how this Christmas will be. Probably the same as last year for me- nothing special.
After my family moved out of state (from where I grew up), about 5 years ago, Christmases have been really small and boring. When I was younger we used to go to my god-gramdmother's house and have a huge Christmas dinner with family.

This year's Christmas will definitely not be the same as last year. In some ways, it's good but in some ways, it's also bad. The good things that make this year's Christmas different is that we are actually planning on going on a family trip during the week of Christmas. We didn't do anything or much last year, so this is a pretty good thing for us. On top of that, I'm going caroling this year and I have a longer winter break, which means more time to mylot =D The bad things however, is that this may be our last Christmas at our house 'cause we may be moving soon. It costs too much to live in the house that we live in now, so we're going to move into a smaller one very soon. Also, for me personally, I feel like I'm a lot more stressed about financial problems more than ever in the past. I mean, I'm not that old but it doesn't mean I've never paid mind to my family's financial situations before. There's just a lot more stress this year than last, but I still feel like this Christmas will be better than last because I feel like an end to our situation is coming very soon =]

For me I think it would be a little different since I won't be able to give everybody gifts. We are cutting back in gift giving because I recently was out of work and will not be paid with my new job until Christmas or after. I would rather try to give the kids a simple gift rather than splurging on one gift and so. But so far I only feel the crisp weather of Christmas but in terms of being jolly for gift giving, I do not feel it. So long for me.
