which would you prefer on your dining table?

A jug of fresh flowers, or a nicely arranged artificial bouquet? Personally, as most girls do, I'd prefer a fresh bouquet of flowers. But the practical side of me says that artificial flowers would last so much longer without half the maintenance necessary. how about you? Do you cut flowers from your garden daily to display on your dining table (my dream scenario)? Or do you have a nice fake arrangement that brightens up your home?

I will prefer nothing on my dining table.. lol =D I will always like to see it clean and free from food etc.. So that, whenever i wanna eat or do some crafts, it's much easier and convenient.. lol =D I'm someone whom like space.. THus, if my dining table is clear of things, i'm able to make full use of the available space, without any shifting.. haha =D As my house is quite small, so, finding a proper table space is a problem at times.. haha =D

You do not need a baby to have a cluttered table. Heck, I do not have a baby, and I have stuff on my dining table that I can never do without! I guess with family, there is no way to have a clear table.

I think I would prefer to have the fresh flowers in the months that are not cold outside. I prefer to have the artificial ones when winter weather is around. It is hard to keep live plants alive indoors when it is cold outside.

I'd rather have neither. Fake flowers are sometimes made from hazardous materials or sprayed with hazardous chemicals. And I'd rather not pick a plant unless it has a use. My ideal would be a nice potted plant small enough to fit on the table.

that's true... a potted plant is most green and eco-friendly.

Personally, I do not like to have anything decorative items on my dining table. The main reason is because my place is really dusty. And any ornaments will only collect dust. And only god knows where all the dust in my home comes from! I really cannot imagine... cos I live far away from the main roads, and there are no factory areas in my immediate vicinity! Anyways, back to the topic, if I have to choose, I prefer real flowers compared to artificial ones. Cos they bring with them fragrance that the fake ones do not. And some how, with real flowers, it attracts less dust as compared to the fake ones.

a basket of fruits looks better on a dining table.it is more enticing and doesn't distract people while talking over dinner.if flowers are preferred, a bouquet of nice, fresh flowers are beautiful.just have them changed on a timely basis,so there will be no wilted flowers on the dining table.

I think I'd prefer a real bouquet. It's not like I always have to take care flowers everyday, so having a bouquet for a while would be nice and not too much of a hassle.
