What do you think about anorexia?
Some time I am inclined to beleive that anorexia is a "princess"disease .Let me explain:in countries where people have difficultly to afford food ,when they have to fight everyday of their life to survive, there is no anorexia .They are starving while some other cares about their weight and make a huge flxation on it .It is ridiculous .They refuse food, many people would do anything for this food ,this is an unacceptable whim.I think people havbe to thing further than their own little world .If you are lucky enought to eat correctly. It is really disrespectful towards people who cant do that to decide to dont eat...
Maybe I am wrong ,what your opinion?

Wintergirls is a book about a girl with anorexia, you should read it to get a better understanding of anorexia...its not a princess disease..they are not in their own little world, at least not in the sense that you mean it. Here are some girls (even guys) who see themselves as looking like they are 200 lbs, when they are really only 100, or less. Its not something they can help, its not like *poof* they just get up one day and decide "hey, I think I'll try anorexia today and see how it does for me"...They are in a battle with themselves, each and every single minute of each and every single day! If they eat too much (by their standards would mean eating a muffin) they FREAK out...they have to get rid of their calories, they think they were weak for doing such a stupid thing. Yes, there are some girls out there who wish they were like that, that they had anorexia...those girls are the ones who have the 'princess disease'...It is most definatly NOT a whim!!
