"Reading maketh a full man..." thus go the saying of Francis Bacon, a thinker of great eminence. Though none of us are perfect in our outlooks and behavioral modes, our quest for knowledge, an insatiable thirst for knowledge do get satiated through the habit of reading. In this era of visual media too the importance of reading in building up the person could never be undermined. It is only through reading that we achieve fullness in every aspect of our lives.

Oh yes, I can agree with Francis Bacon there. When reading, I can often be taken into an imaginary world. Even reading non-fiction, if it is well written, I can imagine myself in the situation that the book is presenting - and that for the most part, just has to be beneficial to health and well-being on all levels.
