Actually, our country's media sucks~ The damned censorship sucks!Different voices is definitely NOT allowed in our mass media. Those who dare to chanllege the censorship and oligarchy would be persecuted.
If I could select the government, I would select one that would really do effort to control the house price. But I can't~ I am sooooo disappointed to see our center government and local government combined their effort to push up the house price. They didn't push any punches. I am soooooo depressed to see premier Wen did nothing good to that, but he is really a good actor on television, getting a deceptive appearance of people first. In our current adminstration, the more GDP grows, the poor the mid-class become. I would prefer to Premier Zhu Rongji.
I hope one day. The media in mainland is open and independent, the internet is free and without censorship, the government is really selected by people, the police is made to benifit the people not the officer in power, and people start to think personally and tolerate different viewpoints from different perspective.

Personally I think no communisim here but oligarch. Our government still tell us we live in a communist country. And we are indoctrinated in shcool the amended theory of coummunisim wich claims communist country can also run market economy. Communism politic is the mandatory course from the primary shool to graduate education. But many people don't think we are still a communist country including a famous professor in Beijing University who is opposed to the pass of Private Property law two years ago and he argued if the law was passed then China would not been communisim anymore. I am preparing the entrance exam of the candidate of graduate student I have to pass the communism politic test that's weird.
The cencership I mean is youtube is blocked, blogger is blocked, and even the wiki was ever blocked, you name it ... That's the famouse overseas website. The BBS of the portal website at home and other famouse forums are all under control, if you comment political sensible issues, your comment will be deleted. The censorship is there. Yes, the environment is much freer than the Chairman Mao era. And with the advent of internet, the populace eventually have a place to complain. I have the right to complain! Government have never stopped to control the internet under stritc control like TV. Have you ever heard our government tried to make law to force every computer in china to install the monitoring software last year? They failed because of many reasons but they tried. Have you heard the GFW. Youtube is blocked or killed here by this thing.
Yes. I'm afraid to be arrested if I go much further and mention the history our communist part did. But I'm careful, I won't mention it. And I know one day I could talk about it maybe 10 years later or 20 years later. And this is a oversea website it's relative safe here.

As to us, mylot is a site in foreign language. Administrators run this site don't need to honor the law of China. so it's relatively safe here. If a website has a Chinese version and many chinese go there and the site offers content our government cannot bear. Then the site will be closed and the administrator will be arrested, if the site host abroad, the site will be blocked by The Great Firewall, just like youtube and wiki(wiki is allowed to connect this year, but if i search the sensitive key word, the connection will be cut off at once for a few seconds.)

Hi. I don't really know much about China aside from those I've read from most history books. Undeniably, you have a very rich history and culture.
I also like the uniqueness of your language. I'm so amazed at how you read, write and speak the Chinese characters. If I will be given the chance, I would love to go there and study your language. I would love to set foot at the well-known Great Wall of China.
Here in the Philippines, I've met a few Chinese at the American Institute. They were nice people and easy to get along with.

The chinese language is nothing difficult,if you grow up in China like me. :)
I think the Chinese character in TaiWan is much more harder. It's too verbose. But, It's more beautiful than what we use in Mainland.I wanna travel to Southeast Asia include Philippines,a beautiful country..But,I need more money..haha

Yeah,Right..We all use the Chinese language, but there are some differences including the accent just like the Ameroenglish and British English..People in Taiwan,Hongkong and Singapore use the traditional Chinese charactor..But we have used the simplified Chinese charactor since 1986, in Mainland..Some complex charactors were simplified ..But I still like to use the traditional Chinese charactor, even if it's complex.Complex but beautiful, you know...

There are two little mistakes.
Simplified Character was put out since 1960s in mainland.
And Singapore also favors simplified Characters. But singapore use mixed language(CH, EN and Malay) English has become the primary language. I'm sorry to say more and more people don't know Chinese but English, and the population of Cantonese speaker decreases sharply.

Hi again! I am a bit aware of your country's political and economical problems. My Chinese friend told me a lot. She even told me that there are certain websites that can't be viewed in china. She can't access youtube because she said that the government banned the site. She also had a hard time looking for a job before. It took her a year of job hunting in Shanghai before she landed on one. And the compensation for the job is not so high just 5 yuan per hour but her job was very demanding and tiring. She also is renting a room in Shanghai since she is from Wuhan, a far province she told me. I really admire Chinese people, they are also hard workers and good entrepreneurs.

Some other Chinese fighters accept this challenge..The fight will begin this month..

I'm a Chinese living in Philippines. I think being a communist country sort of isolated China from the world, being "Communist" doesn't exactly convey a positive bearing. Also, you cannot discount the fact that people do discriminate. This becomes more apparent specially, if you are in a different country -- you belong in the minority group. When people discriminate, there is really no reason for it. They'd hate you and not like you just because they can. On a positive note, Chinese are known for being good entrepreneurs. Chinese are respected when it comes to Business matters.

Well, I am thankful that Chinese and most foreigners or immigrants here in the Philippines are treated really well. Filipinos are very warm people.
I agree with you, no matter how hard people pushes us down, we shouldn't let that stop us from flourishing and becoming better persons.

I haven't go abroad before.I sympathize with U who were discriminated abroad. In China, the uygurs consider they were discriminated, but we were not aware of that is a discriminated..We just didn't understand them well, their culture and tradition. So, we didn't know how to exchange with them.Sometimes we fare exchange with them..They don't want to exchange with us,too. So they consider that this is a discrimination. I don't know if that your situation is same of the uygurs in China. It's just a extrangement between the majority group and the minority one..But,we should thanks the "discrimination".It make our people work hard to break away from it..It make our country develop herself to break away from it.One day,we will be admited, our country is changing.
