I get that every year. His excuse is that my birthday falls 2 days before payday. It wouldn't hurt him to get something the month before or to save a little bit to get something! Still, I can't complain too much because, although I have had to wait up to a monmth for a birthday present, he's always got me one eventually!

Well, my husband is very good at buying Gifts. A lot of the times though I have thrown out hints of what I want though. One of the best gifts I have gotten from him so far, is the monitor that I am using with my Computer, and this yr. I am getting a Laptop from him with my help. This will be an awesome gift as well.

That will be a great gift, it is nice not to have to tell them sometimes, my husband is pretty good at picking out gifts, sometimes I give him hints so I can be sure to get what I want, lol, Thanks for the post.

My partner isn't normally the kind of person who would know what to get but he's done fairly well so far. We've been together about 4 years and he has managed to get me something I have liked AND needed every time so I've been impressed with him. Not sure how he'll do this year!

Well, that is great, if you don't have to tell him, then he is doing a great job, thanks for the comment.

I have to tell him. For our anniversary I told him I just wanted dinner and flowers and he got me a wallet thats engraved. Happy 2nd anniversay I love you. That was good but I think he had help. The worst present I ever received was from my mom she wrapped empty boxes for me for Christmas. In one of the 20 boxes there was a gift card. So I had to open a bunch of empty boxes.
