Does eating vegetable helps to put on weight?
I read that they are rich source of protein.
So eating lot of protein will cause to building up muscles.
I loved to eat cooked vegetables.
It wont matter if bread is not sufficient but I want more vegetable for eating.

No, vegetables are a good food for diet. If you want to lose weight, just eat vegetables and fruits, without rice, mushed potato, and bread. My friend's diet was vegetables and fruits and it was really effective. She lost weight after a month of just eating vegetables. I also love eating vegetables, and I noticed that I never gain weight. My weight is still the same for the last couple of years, even if I don't workout.

Vegetables are very good for health but not really for building muscle and repairing tissue.
Pulses are a good source of protein, beans, peas, lentils, most other Veg is a good source of vitamins and trace elements.
