Team Edward or Team Jacob?

I know everyone's been talking about this lately, but I wanted to ask this question here since I'm new to the site. Do you like Edward Cullen more or Jacob Black and why?
This is a tough question for me. I really do like both of them. However, I am intrigued much more by Edward. He's just so mysterious and so sweet. Yes, he hurts Bella, but he really does love her. I love the connection they share. I think every girl reading the books or watching the movies wants and Edward in their life. (I think I've found mine :):))
I like Jacob because he's such a great friend. He understands how Bella's feeling and is trying his very best to make her happy and fill the void while Edward's gone. I've never been broken up with so I can't even imagine what she must have been feeling like. Breaking up with someone is hard enough!

I don't think I could put it any better than you have really! I would love to have both and Edward and a Jacob in my life. Like you said, there is just something about Edward, he is sweet and overprotective, which is actually why he left, even though it did hurt Bella, he was doing it because he thought she would be better off, when really it was the exact opposite. Then there is sweet, nice comfortable Jacob, the guy who admires you but you just can't see them as more than a best friend/a brother. In general I am Team Edward, but I do have a soft spot for Jacob, because he is the one that maybe it would be "safer" to be with, the one that would never leave, while Edward is the one who you love with all your heart because there is just such a deep, instant connection that can't be denied.

Jacob definitely would be the safer guy to choose, but doesn't every girl like the bad guy, who might bite you lol :p J/K. I always feel bad for the guys who are viewed as the brother, I've seen it happen so many times. Poor Jacob!

I agree with your comments. If I have both guys in my life I'll go for Edward because he is sweet(super) and a mature guy who can understand my childish acts. Well of course he is mature because he already lived more than a hundred years. And if there is a Jacob in my life, I'll keep him as a special someone...

I totally agree with you. When I first started reading the books I was intrigued with Edward and I LOVED him. And became a little obsessed. After I finished the books I got a little bored by Edward because he..... well..... became predictable. But then after seeing New Moon and rereading the books I think that if there was no Edward ever Jacob is the next best thing. But then again who doesn't want an Edward? I just hope one day I will find my Edward.

I think everyone wants their own Edward, someone willing to die for you, take care of you, be there no matter what. There is so much pain in the love they share, yet it's so romantic.. it makes me so emotional. LOL, I'm such a girl!! :p

Your an independent beauty consultant!!! what a small world. I am not one but my mother was. It was so much fun helping her all the time and going with her to clients houses or doing facial parties.

Oh such a difficult choice. Edward is the intense, mysterious, difficult to know, more fun to be with guy. And Jacob is this very stable, trustworthy and all. Both have their pros....... But then I think would go in for the intense Edward as my love and the stable Jacob as the best friend. I dont think I can just take only one's side.

That's a really good point. I agree with you there! I mean, they're both really cute, really sweet. I just like Edward more. I guess he's more attractive to me. He seems more stable, mature and smarter. However, that doesn't mean Jacob won't one day mean just as much to Bella. Gosh!! I need to finish the last book!!!

Edward being a Vampire is alone a strong reason I am so in Edward's Team.I am more of like Edward,mysterious,overprotective and loves music except the looks :)
Jacob is also a cool guy.But he is not so like me totally opposite to me.

i am totally a twilight person, i have watched it for three times,and the new moon for twice.at the first,i watched the twilight,i didn't like Jacob,i am totally intrgued by Edward,as you said he is mysterious and sweet,and i also think he is someone who eager for the true love during his 100 years as being a vampire,i almost can feel how alone he was,and how precious this love between he and Bella is!in the New moon,although he leave Bella,but i think he is the most painful person than any others,cause he must leave his preciousness in order to protect her.i have experience like this,i absolutely understand his feeling
yes,Jacob is someone who girls need,he is a great friend,he take care of Bella when Edward gone away.Bella is so luck for having a friend like this. i think maybe someone would think if there is no Edward,Bella would love Jocob.yes maybe,but i think this is fate,there is Eward, and they totally fall love with each other,and Eward is who Bella real need,cause this is love,with passion and pain.

The story is so in depth and while it may not be one of the best written books (as many people say), I think Stephanie Meyer did a great job capturing emotions, love (whether it's real or not) and just intense passion/lust.

I know what you mean :p Just by looks, I would choose Edward. I like that he's not overly muscular and he's pale. It's nice to see so many people finding someone like him attractive. I'm so used to hearing people say 'hair is gross', and 'he has no abs'. I don't think a guy needs a six pack to be sexy, or buff arms. I can't really define what I find sexy, but he's it. My taste is very random, it seems lol. And yes, Jacob does have a nice body too haha

I haven't watched New Moon yet but in my opinion, Bella is best to be with Edward. I wouldn't mind having the characteristics of Edward; mysterious and brooding. Jacob is more like the best friend that a girl needs, I think. Anyway, I think Bella is just so sweet; she's such a lass..

Bella is a really sweet girl. I can completely relate to her shyness. She has a certain spark about her and Edward really seems to bring it out. When you do see New Moon, let us know what you think :)

I completely agree with you, I think it would be difficult to chose between the two men. The love between Edward and Bella is something that people can only dream of having in their lives, but then again there are also issues between them that are difficult to resolve. Then there is Jacob, he seems like he is one of the most understanding and selfless people to ever live and he has the innate ability to be a great friend when the feelings that he has are not reciprocated.
I'd love to have the exact same situation that Bella has where her boyfriend is to committed to her and also her best friend is such a wonderful friend.

I am so on team Edward. He is way better looking then Jacob in my opinion, and theres just something about the way he carries himself that makes him so irresistible. Maybe it's because he's so romantic and intense, compared to so many other guys. I love his hair, and his bone structure is to die for. Omg I want to have children with him. Haha wow I sound like a love sick thirteen year old, so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Haha Twilight does crazy things to us :p I also think Edward is very attractive, because he seems so shy and he's trying so hard to be right for her. It's such an intense connection that they share. I bawl my eyes out when I read the book/watch the movies.. it just never fails lol!!
