What is your limit of temptation?

Are you able to resist the temptation of a product that appears sparkling to your eyes but the price is too steep? For example, A cell phone cost $1,200 and you have tried out the display set and find everything works the way that you want but the price is too steep. Will you say I will think about it or I want to purchase it now? In addition, if you see the same product and price at another place after you left the shop, will you buy it?

Yes. I can definitely avoid temptation when it comes to expensive things like that. I do not have to have those kinds of things. I can find just as good of things, for less money if I shop around.

I could resist a 1,200.00 cell phone with both hands tied behnd my back, it wouldn't matter to me what it could do..I take that back if it would do the laundry, I would consider it..but it would have to put the clothes away as well as iron them. I tend to wait for the price to drop on electronics before just jumping on them as soon as they come out..appliances too. My one exception was a front loading washing machine..I had the money saved to buy one of them the first year they started coming out..They have dropped alot since then, but I have saved so much water in that time, it doesn't bother me that much.

A $1,200 cellphone? That's just scary!! I could get 3 iPhones for that price. But I do know what you are saying. When something is too expensive for my budget, I am not tempted by it at all. And if i do know that I'll want it some day in the future, I'll start saving for it in the present.
