Converting Video files Question

Hey guys Im Trying to convert a DV file to Avi to put on my website. The DV file plays in quicktime but of course is not website compatible. Any ways I can do this? I have a Imac Btw that might help :)

You'll need a proper video-converting program. Try www.download.com and search video conversion for a series of options of different softwhare that you might want to consider. Check out the licance, you'll know right then if it'll cost you anything or not. Also, if you have limited funds you can search by platform and by licence *free, or free to try, or to buy are your options. Good luck in getting the files to convert properly.

Alright I went to Download.com and found a program that worked perfectly! I have since converted my DV file to AVI with no problems, and to boot the program was for my Mac and FREE :) Im very happy thanks alot guys for all your responses :)

Alright well like I said it is a DV File and I wanted to convert it to AVI the file size is 424.9MB, so I cant do Zumzar or whatnot but it seems Another member on here has yet another Idea. I will try it.

I guess you can use the trial version of Total Video Converter as this might help as it gives wide variety of conversion formats and other related things. Let me know if it helps you. All the best.
