Have you ever found an old friend on facebook?

Hi, codris. Yes, I have found a few of my classmates that went to high school with me in my senior year. Being that said, I have had a few of them email me back.

I was on facebook and found so many old friends. Now I am in touch with high school,buddy's as well. I just recently had a visit from one of them from Va.

Well.. yeah! Mostly my elementary grade and junior grade friends. Actually that was one of my reason for using facebook. "People you might know" feature from Facebook is pretty helpful. They always show possible friends that covered by same work and/or school and college. Oh, "mutual friends" thing is pretty useful also. But now I rarely open my FB account. A little busy with mylotting and doing job. LoL :)

Hi I have found lots of friends from my original country also not to mention how many lost relatives I have found on Facebook - It is really very very helpful. Now we contact each other very regularly.

I've found lots of old friends on facebook. One of them was my best friend when we were younger. I think facebook is good for finding people you've lost touch with and to communicate with people.

In facebook no but i have found two of my elementry school friends in myspace one of them i still talk to him the other one which was my best best friend i only spoke to her like 2 times after that everything went cold I guess it was because we have nothing in commun anymore :( i really miss her friendship to bad she leaves really far away and does not have a computer access :( Oh and between facebook and myspace i like myspace better loll

yes, i also find some old friends and classmates on facebook. some of them are already working or living in other countries. it is really useful to maintain communications with other friends and other people, like co-employees from other regions.

I have a few friends on Facebook. One was a former High School classmate. The other was a person I used to work with. I could find more old classmates but I don't. I didn't care for high School! Bad memories! The old high school mate I did find is related to my father's girlfriend. It is her son! It is a small world!

I have found many people that I have not seen for at least 20 years. Even a teacher that I had. I am really excited about finding all my old school friends. But there is one friend that I have had that I have not seen for just a bit more. I really can't believe how great facebook is with catching up with old friends.

Yes. What I like about face book is you can easily find your friends there. I found my old classmate when I was in grade two. Also my cousins that I haven't seen for a very long time and because of face book, I have a communication with them. I got their numbers and I can easily access them now.

Well, yes, I met a lot of long lost friend there. It is sometimes surprising to see how much they have changed. I think facebook is a good tool to regain friends. I'm not a very communicative person, so facebook helps me a lot. It's fun to see them again.

Yes, I found my old high school classmates and college schoolmates and friends in Facebook. Although, I found them on Friendster first, some have opted to use Facebook instead. Though I still have my Friendster account, I also use Facebook because I have a bigger chance of meeting people here. Thanks!

Hi there, I also find my old friends in facebook that I almost lost my contact with them for a long period of time. I am happy with facebook because I was able to have a communication again with my long time friend and he is not just a friend to me, he is somewhat special in my heart. We lost our contact for each other about 10 years ago for a lot of reasons, but I am very much happy now that we're able to talk again.

i have found an old friend on Facebook and i do agree with you it is very useful to stay in touch with friends and family but i feel because of sites like Facebook and Myspace people are less likely to meet each other in person, they prefer staying in touch online and through phones because it's a lot easier and less time consuming which i don't think is a very good thing. meeting someone in person is more real obviously and shows you care and you can talk to someone properly when you actually see them.
