Hello Sharon. Well, depending on the type of music, ofcourse. Some will give me headache too, especially heavt metal. But, classical music is very pleasant and relaxing. I have a collection of CDs of classical music, Chopin, Strauss, Brahms, Beethoven, and more. And, I listen to them in the evenings after I get back home from work. That's my favorite way of relaxing and getting rid of the stresses of the day. They remove the headaches I got from my work place.

LOL I get sick of rap, too, especially when it's cranked up loud and it's on the radio - which tends to play the same songs over & over again. I don't get how people can constantly listen to it.. I just personally can't stand a lot of it. I like a few rap songs here and there, but only in moderation! Tell her to turn that crap down! lol!

I hope she gets to be like you one day. Moderation is the key. Thanks

Yes, it happens that music gives me a headache. It's not always the case, but it happens that loud music, usually the type of music that I'm not that fond of, will give me a bit of a headache. I'm glad that it doesn't happen very often though. Unfortunately it still happens once in a while.

Have you tried asking her to go to another room to listen to it or to turn it down, or maybe use headphones?

I don't get headaches from listening to music, no.. but I can imagine that you get headaches from music you don't like.. I can't stand it to listen to music that I don't like, or hate even.. it becomes irritating and you just want to shut the radio off right at that moment you hear it... I think when you already have a headache and listen to music, you sometimes can get a headache too, but I don't think that you get headaches all the time if you know what I mean, Just sometimes when you already have a headache and then it increases when you listen to any music at all..and if you're listening to music that you don't like than it would become a disaster because you could increase your headache maybe by 2 times or even more.. Also I think that music can cure your headache if you are listening to meditating music or something else that gets peace on your mind, what I usually do when I get a headache and I want to have peace in my mind, I just turn on some music..well not really music but more like meditating 'music' from paul mckenna, a great nlp practitioner who gets you into trance and relaxes your whole body and mind too.. great stuff, good luck with it

It depends on the kind of music for me. Rap, heavy metal and the like all give me headaches, I never listen to it. You shuold try and introduce her to good music, rap is aweful. My dad would kill me if I listened to anything of the like, haha. Do that and if she likes it and tries to listen to that junk she would be baffled by ever liking it. :] Or I think, at least..
