Is spongebob squarepants' for kids or not?

How can Spongebob not be good for kids? I've seen cartoons that are way worse. I'm also young at heart. :) and my mind tends to wonder. I've never seen anything to make me think it's bad for kids.. Maybe it's just me.

As long as kids think he's funny, it's okay. (I used to watch it.) However, if kids start going around trying to imitate his laugh or walk around repeating him like "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready ..." it could get annoying. (I was in a doctor's office where a mother kept trying to get her son from saying "Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles".) I think SpongeBob is mostly for kids, whereas a show like Ren and Stimpy had some humor that was definitely adult.

hi ryhme, Oh I love spongebob! Definitely, it's not just for kids, it's for adults as well (or for people that are still kid at heart like me..hehe). I like it a lot and I have watched almost all of its episodes. I even visit their main website just to check what's new. hehe! Yeah, I don't know why some doesn't like him maybe because, they find him a little crazy and not just him but patrick and squid too. haha! But for me, it is very entertaining and it is not boring like those other typical cartoon shows. Every episode has lesson/values to learn. I even find all the character of the said show have differences and their traits are so unique and fun to watch. So for me it really is a nice show.

Hi rhyme I also like to watch cartoons. I used to like spongebob but the later episodes are not so good as the first one. And I just cant stand that horrible human pirate. I hate it when he appears. My little brother has become a big fan of spongebob and its his favorite show. I think people say its a bad influence because spongebob is dumb and is such a sissy. And also Patrick who is pretty much brainless. Maybe people dont see them as great examples. I dont disagree too much with this people. I mean its not that i dont like spongebob(or used to), but i agree that is dumb and has 0 values.

I like to think that Spongebob is appealing to everyone, because I like it and I'm not a kid. w

I think there is no age to like something.It is totally ur wish what u want to see.And about ur friends, have they ever asked u what should they watch and what to eat.
