American Idol is a way of people showing their talents,emotion and participation on tv and you are lucky if you can enter or choosen to be a part of this shows.
i am not american's but i love watching this shows specially when simon give his comment or feedback of the contestant,its hard to catch simon's smile,so be carefull with simon.

I love American Idol, and the main judges. Yeah, Simon can be pretty harsh most of the time. I think that is his way of challenging the contestants to step up, though I myself wouldn't want to be in the contestants' place - in his scrutiny. But he also doesn't fail to commend deserving performances, like give a standing ovation.

i dont like reality shows, BT i Like one thing about them In maximum reality show they give us chance to see the Original face of our favt celebs.They should clear the difference what we thought about them and in reality what they are.

Simon rarely smiles, right? I'd rather him being serious and brooding. When he smiles, it gives me the creeps! LOL...just kidding. He's a good judge actually. He has this knack for finding talent, but I do agree, sometimes his words are harsh and I always feel for those whom looked hurt but trying to be steady when he gave judgments. Hmmmmp. But then again, he's a judge. So, I don't know. I'm looking forward to Ellen though on AI.
