The mobile phone has become a part of everyday life for millions of people across the world. There are so many advantages of using mobile phones.
1) Accessibility - The biggest advantage of having a business mobile phone is that it becomes much easier to contact you.
2) Common - Mobile phones are now so common that many people expect you to have one.
3) Time - An importnat conversation can take place anywhere(e.g., on a train). If you travel for 3 hours of every working day, then normally you would lose those 3 hours of communication,a mobile phone allows you to get those hours back.
4) Details - A mobile phone allows you to confirm and check details quickly.
5) Bookings and Appointments
6) Email Messages - There is no need to go without email messages on the move.It is now possible to be informed by phone call or text message.
7) Re-Direction and Answer Services
8) Dual Lines
9) International - Most new phones are able to work in a number of countries, which means that even when you are abroad on business trips you can still be instantly accessible.

The disadvantages are that, it engages us always even during the travelling time. It causes health problem, if used for a long hours, the electronic signals will affect our health. Now a days even school students are having one cell phone and by sending text messages, and calling their friends, they are loosing concentration on studies.

i think the main disadvantage of mobile phone is that if you are on a weekend or on a trip with your family, it always disturb u, whether its a call from your office or some of your client, and you have always to cheat them. on the other hand you can regret or forgot its advantages too, it has lots of advantages too.

Hi swap!
It is true that mobile phones have become integral part of our lives and its users are increasing day by day. It not only helps one communicates but it can entertain also. I love having my mobile with me, either I'm at home or away. It comes very handy in the hour of need and can give us good company, if we are alone somewhere. However, the flip side is mobile would ring, when you are busy in something and when you are sleeping........lol!

Mobile phones have become a part of everyday life, for the reasons you have posted and more. As time goes on, they will become even more important in helping you stay connected in your everyday life. But, thats not the only reason they have become so popular. They are a great orgnization tool and business people use them to keep track of their busy lives. And, as they become more popular, the more will be crammed into them. Already most smart phones are mini-computers in their own right.

oh yes mobile phones is already a part of our daily living.... not only in the business world , also ordinary people are using mobile phones. even primary students are also using mobile phone, a device where they contact their parents, friends and classmates. Before people are saying mobile phones is luxurious... But when people understand the use of it, it became now a necessity to all of us.. But some people said it has also some disadvantages.
. not all mobile phones are high tech.
. mobile phones are expensive if you want a real and high tech phones.
. some people cannot affrod to buy one.

In my opinion there are many advantage of cell phone that disadvantage. As you said and list of the advantage that you quote here. I think this is enough but the disadvantage is that it make people in trouble like; husband and wife learn to cheat each other. Some people die because of cell phone this is a few disadvantage but serious...

Hi i agree with what you have posted. In my country almost all people have their mobile phones and even a 6yrs old child knows how to operate it.even farmers have their mobile phone with them while plowing their fields because of the reasons that you have mentioned. For my experience, i always have my mobile phone with me since i'm working in an office and used it purposely to communicate with other offices as well as to have an open communication with my husband who is also working and far from us.
I think one of the disadvantage is that when you are in a remote area and there is no site and no electricity you cant use it for communication.also for pregnant women there is a disadvantage of too much exposure.over all range, mobile phones are really more of advantages.....
