How do you often confess your sin?

If you mean to a priest, I don't. We should have a direction connection with God through Christ Who will dwell within us (see John 15) when we truly commit to Him. When we sin, we should immediately confess it, asking God to forgive us and help us through Christ not to do it again. Also, whenever the Holy Spirit reveals something to us--where we have sinned.

To a priest, nope! Haven't confess my sins for a long time now. I pray and had confess it to God. Better to go to Him directly than to a middleman. Had confess some of it to my wife too. And the good thing is, all of them were forgiven.lol

well to tell you the truth I haven't confess in years and I don't know where to start and when you get this far gone it only gets harder and harder so I don't know where to start I'm glad that you brought this up!!

I confess what I did wrong, as soon as God reminds me of it. Confessing is not a ritual, but for me, it's the awareness that I did something to hurt my loving God. I do not go to a pastor but I say it directly to God, in a prayer. God listens to us any time, anywhere. But I make it a point to ask for forgiveness every night before I go to bed.

I always ask God for His forgiveness, but i never actually go to church to tell a priest what i have done wrong. For the simple fact, thats its better he doesn't know, especially if it's something bad. Anyway i believe through prayer, you can always ask God for forgiveness, and i believe he will always forgive. Prayer is a means of talking to God in a way, so in my opinion confessing your sins while your praying is valid. Also, i think if you do something wrong, the first thing you should do is try physically to fix it yourself.

Do you mean go to a church and tell a priest your mistakes? Then no I never tell my dirty little secrets. Personally I don´t believe in sins at all, I believe you make mistakes and you can correct them, that´s the way we learn. So I have never really confessed my sins. I sure don´t plan to do so either. Hi 518theo,Well in my part,i used to pray every day and i will always ask for the forgiveness of my sin.We committed sin in mind in thoughts and in deeds, so we must always ask for forgiveness, not only once a month but every hour in a day.We must have time to talk and to surrender to our God,no matter how busy we are.Thanks for the nice topic.God Bless!
