I got nearly INR 3500[$75-present value] as my first month salary in a fertilier company in 1988.I felt that i won the world at that time and i straight away gave to my mother.I saw a satisfaction in her eyes which gave me immense pleasure which i may not get in my life time. Share your feelings on your FIRST INCOME..

Hi baluyadav During the year 1975, I worked temporarily in electoral rolls and earned 350 INR which I gave it to my father and he felt very happy and deposited them in my bank account. That time I saw in my dad's eyes some sort of wetness which I think is happy tears and It melted my heart and I can never forget that day in my life. Now My son gave his first salary to me and the same feeling I had which my father had that time

Since three months he is earning in infosys and keeping some money for his transport, laundry, food and miscellaneous purpose, he gives me some money. The eldest one also used to give me some money but since he is occupied with his liabilities now, he is helpless. Once his commitment is over, again he starts giving me money. I am proud of my children not because they are giving me money but they are well bred, well cultured, well disciplined, well educated and always concerned about their family. They do not go to pub nor go around with girl friends. Both my sons likes me very much and do not allow me to carry any weight where ever I go.

I am not sure if I was the happiest with my first earnings or not. I was excited to finally have my first job though. I worked for a popcorn manufacturing plant. I made very little there though but I liked my job.

True, the first income is like a God sent gift. I too gave the cheque to my father. He appreciated the small gift I presented him with immense gratitude. In fact, I should be the one who has to feel that way. Maybe, he was proud to have a child like me, I think. Cheers friend and have a nice day.

I remember the happiest moments of first earning in life as I got my salary of Rs. 4200/- while I was working in a call center which was around two years ago. I know when I was with my friends waiting at the atm center for the salary to come into my bank account. And when I saw the printed receipt, a shared a sense of happiness and then, I gave a treat to my family by taking them to dinner and when I got salary from the next month, I bought a Playstation 2 for myself which was by my own money which I feel proud of. But unfortunately, it didn't last long and lasted for only 5-6 months as it become unrepairable. Anyways, I have moved on and now am pursuing my further studies!!

My first salary was Rs.125/- (around 3 dollars), though looks funny, it was more for me then at that time. It was in 1966. I did not finish 18 years of age. Hence I took up that job on the day of my last exam day, when my college offered me that job. I gave it to my father and he said my darling earned it with her small hands and kept it before God.

My first real salary from my work cost about $200.00 in early 90's. I remember the first thing I did is to treat my family in a local restaurant and spent almost a 1/3 of it. Then I buy a Sony Walkman for myself.
