Well, I wander some times that weather some person read others response before responding to any discussions . Some times I read two three most ...and otherwise I just do my response and leave that response to be decided by owner of that discussion ...
What about you?
What you do before responding to any discussion??

In fact,it is a good habit to read others'response before you make a comment,it is helpful to extend your mind, but sometimes i don't have enough pacience to read all of them, sometimes three or four are done, mybe i should make more later!

It really does depend nn how many respones there are to the discussion. If there are way to many, then I don't read them all, as it would take way to long and I pretty much know what I want to say in the first place whether others respond the same way or not. If there aren't all that many responses. then I will read the responses that are there. I don't know why some get more responses than others, but it does happen. I really do enjoy sharing and I do start some discussions but not all that many. I do read the responses to my own discussion though so I can comment back to them. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Sometimes I do, when I'm curious about what others think of the discussion or if I had forgotten if I already responded to that discussion. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I just leave a quick response.

Well I must admit that most times I dont as in this discussion and Ihope that no one makes the same comments. The reason is that I dont normally have time to read all the responses and in addition I think that I normally have a unique delivery .There are some discussions that I would read especially if its an interesting topic and I want to see what others have said

I'm the exact same way that you are in this matter. I don't typically read all of the responses on a discussion, especially if there are a lot of them. I want to share my opinion regardless of whether or not my opinion corresponds with that of someone else, so I am going to share what I have to say because I'm sure that the way that I say it is going to be different from the way that anyone else has said it. Besides that, sometimes when I read what other people have to say it has a tendency to sway my opinion to some degree.

hi sincere^^;;
it depends. if the discussion is asking for an answer about this and that specially about mylot, then i would read if someone have already given the correct and complete answer. if yes, then i would not respond anymore, maybe just comment to add if i have something to add.
if the discussion asks for just experiences or what we thought and there are just few replies, the i read..but,
if the discussion, receives too many reply like more than two pages then i would just read one or two responses then write my own, after it's already posted then i can try to go back and read the others. i don't like to read all before responding because if someone have already written similar to what i am thinking then sometimes i lost my interest to respond

Usually I do not have time to go through others' responses. But sometimes, if the previous response holder is a good responder or is my friend in mylot, then I will read that. By this we will come to know about various thoughts of different persons.

I do the same. Its always good to hear what can they say about a certain topic. I tried to finish reading them all before I respond to it.

i read the topic first then check members post to make sure im no copying what they just said. if i read the same answer as whats in my mind then i commented to comments of that person's answer agreeing what he/she says.

Honestly, I dont have the habit of reading the responses first before responding to the topic. I post my respond first then read others' response after (only if I am really interested to the topic or if I am after reaching the minimum payout ).
I believe reading the responses before responding is against mylot rule but that is undetectable... However, I have nothing agaist those who read first before responding mylotters... as long as they don't copy others response that is completely fine.

Good question,If I feel the discussion is interesting,I will read it from the frist biginning to the end.Because I am here not only to earn.also to learn.I am trying to polish my English. So I read a lot of discussions,I think that does help.
If I don't read some discussions,I just don't know what to say.Happy mylot.

I prefer to read few responses before posting my own response. But sometime if time is less then post direct my response after reading discussion.

I do not read what others have said before I respond to a discussion. Why? Because I receive all of my friends discussions in my email inbox daily. When I go to respond to the discussion, it loads the page for me to respond to and it does not show what others have responded with.

Not all the times. Sometimes, I may be confused with the post description like what the author wants to ask or say actually. It might be confusing. So in such cases I do read the intial responses so that i am sure about the context of the discussion before making my post. Moreover, there is no harm readig other people opinions on other discussions at times.

I usually like to take a look at other responses especially if the discussion starter is asking a specific question; by reading other responses I lessen the chance of repeating the same thing someone else has said. I like to read other responses and commenting on them too sometimes which can turn the topic in a very interesting interaction between several MyLotters. I rarely answer directly from emails as I like to look at the bigger picture!

As much as possible I'll to to read the responses posted by other first so I won't repeaet myself of something they already have typed.
But if there are already 30+ respondents, I just respond right away.

Hi. It depends on the type of discussion. I normally read all the responses if the author is asking for help or opinion about something. I read all existing responses so as not to duplicate other responses. And for me to be able to give new insights on the situation/problem.
I don't normally read other people's responses if the discussion requires me to share personal experiences.
