how 2 ping a url.

How do you ping a url? Step by step guide such as START PROGRAME... reqd.

Hi want to ping a site then follow the procedure Go to start menu and then go to run and type 'cmd' press enter and now enter the websaite which u want to ping (ex: www.googl.com)press enter u will get the ip address.........

Hi, Just go to start--- run then type "cmd". Your command prompt window will open. May be like this: "c:" Then type ping URL(maybe yahoo.com") after the c: hope this helps. Cheers...
