paypal name reversed..!

hi frendz...
i have a problem with the transactions involving paypal and my bank account..
consider my name is
first name : x
no middle name.
last name /surmname : y
that makes my name in the paypal as : X Y
but it is displayed as : Y X (PAYPAL)
and then my bank account has my name as : X Y (BANK)
please tell me if i can go ahead with the transaction or will it be rejected..
can the name and surname be reversed..??

but even if a create a new account i have change last name to first name and first name to last name to get into order..
but i m just worried if that ll be a problem altogether because then my name will be read as a surname and vice versa..??
anyone who already FACED this.?

i don't think this will be any problem, us names are always lastname-firstname format, our is firstname-lastname format. just be sure individually they are entered ok, then won't be a problem anymore.

I had this name problem. My name was changed while I registered. Bank name and paypal name should be the same.So I registered a new paypal account with a different e-mail address. I am using this new account which matches with my bank account. If you are requesting the paypal there is possibility to correct the mistake.

if you already added your bank account and it is already confirmed, then you can go ahead and process the transaction, the name cannot be reversed just by a simple request, you need to submit a secured webform inside your paypal account to request a name change and they gonna ask a documents or proof for the correction of the name

I am also having the same problem with my Paypal account and the bank account name...With hesitations, I requested for the fund transfer to my bank account a month back.Fortunately,my fund got transferred into my bank account without any issue.Even if you have the mismatch in your name in Paypal and bank account, you can send the request to make changes in your paypal account and there are provisions for that.Hope you will also not face any problem in the fund transfer.
