Do you sit back on your failures or move forward with new spirit?

I will be affected by failure in the beginning. I am not do'nt care type. Then I will assess and realise where I or what went wrong and with new zeal, I will move forward to face the cause of failure again. With courage and determination, I will try to be successful the second time. How do you face failures or disappointments?

I am not capable of giving any advises to you. But as an elder sisterly concern, I tell one thing. When you fall down on the road, are you sitting there for ever? No doubt you are shocked for a while, may be a feeling of shame came as passersby saw us falling. But within few minutes, you try to get up dusting your self. You are on your legs, do'nt you? You are taking care of your duties, do'nt you think so? In the same way, get up from the failure. No one is beyond failures. Everyone of us have faced failures in some time or other in some way or other. You have courage and confidence. Past is past, walk fast with firm determination. The success is yours Baluyadavgaru. You have a supportive wife. Confide in her. Even if she may not be knowing the official matters, but I am sure she will give moral boost to you. God Bless.

Like you, when I fail, I sulk for a while and think why I failed. After I get to realize the root cause of my failure, I can figure out what I should do so that I won't fail on the same or similar case again. I learn from my mistakes by being open-minded about them and by admitting to myself that I really do make mistakes. If I do not accept my own weaknesses and failures, I would never grow forward. So, must be open-minded and positive, and as you said, 'move forward with new spirit'.

You are down to earth my dear friend. You analyse the situation as a third party, without having any biased opinions on your own self. I very much appreciate this quality in you. You agree the facts, the mistakes and show an inclination to go forward rectifying the old mistakes and lapses. You will see victory in what you do with this quality in you. BEST OF LUCK.

Like you, I feel very disappointed at the very beginning of the failure. And then I will feel better gradually and then think carefully about the reason how come the failure came into being. I think that it helps if we make it known to us why for us to make some improvement so that we will succeed next time. I love the saying that failure is the mother of success.

Very true. Failure is the mother of success provided we make use of it in a correct way. If we just sit down on the failure, then it is of no use.

hello buchi_bulla! failure is never easy to accept specially if its something that e put so much effort...it will really becomes so disappointing and can make our spirits low... but still its not the end of the world. i think all of us have experienced failure in our life, even i. but i am still here standing strong...because i don't let failure control my life...and i believe on what i have read that success is not forever and failure is not fatal... what i do is to try to analyze where i get wrong, and try my best to improve it the next time till i become successful, i also pray for it and ask for God's guidance, asking Him to make me stronger... lets not cry over a spilled milk and don't ever give up! and lets just learn from our failures & make use it as a motivation for us to do better the next time... good day!

Hi! I have recently been in deep-deep depression concerning my life. Although I have never experienced really important failures, I have noticed, that my life goes somehow in a wrong direction. In two weeks of constant thinking, I haven't managed to find out a concrete moment, when it all went wrong. But this time I was more than sure, I will never return to my previous life. In fact, his depression revealed my serious problem of moving only forward without careful thinking of what have really happened in each small failure. Because of such a behavior, I have lost 4 years of my life and have to start from scratch now, thoroughly thinking of every step I make, with clear ambitions in front of me. Hope I will succeed this time.

I definitely move forward with a new spirit. The actions that make our mistakes true failures are our inabilities to learn from them, however, if we take the lessons from our mistakes, and use them to move forward with a renewed spirits, nothing we do, no matter how much we think we screwed up, can actually be considered a failure.

Very well said Danishcanadian. This is the spirit that is required for a person who has faced a failure. Let us learn from our mistakes. There is a saying, failures are the stepping stones for success. Let us analyse the matter, find out the cause of failure and try to rectify it and move forward. Success is yours.

I do set back on some of my failures to try to rethink things through to make sure not to fail again. I never dwell on my failures though because there is just no time for it. I have to move forward.

Of course you are right. We have to think on our failures to know the reason of the failure. Then no turning back. Jut go forward like a rocket and try to reach your goals.

I believe that everybody sits back on their failures the first 10 to 15 minutes when they have failed something. But once they analyze why they have failed then the person either stays on the negative state or actually sees an opportunity to make a change on themselves to do better the next time. I maybe at times look into things a little negative but I recover quickly by motivating myself to do better the next time. There is no other way to go but forward positively thus I will do it with a good heart.

If i keep repenting for the failures, then I can not go forward and accept a new challenge. So I simply think that what ever happened is happened atleast the present should be looked into and the future should be chalked out into. This is my policy

There is a saying in Tamil. Let the past be past. Whatever is going to happen, let it be good. Your policy reminds me that. It is a good and welcome policy Vathsala30.

It is always best to move forward in life. Looking back and wallowing in despair and grief is never good for your soul.

Hi Aunty, I dont sit back on failures i move forward with the new spirit. I would realise the mistake where i have done and i would remember i should never repeat the same mistake. Thinking of the past failures always makes us sad due to this we depressed and our health will be spoiled. Have a great day.
