Friendster is most of the website to connect all the friends worldwide once ago. When there is a website known as "facebook" , there is no much people playing for friendster. Facebook is a place you can tell the messages to everybody. You can spy your friends with their recent photos. Facebook also provides the games such as mafia war, cafe world, poker and so on. Nowadays most of the people are addicted for facebook. They can sit in front of computer just to click on the facebook. Is it people can live without facebook?

Of course we can live without Facebook. If Facebook stops working we will find an alternative or someone will create an alternate site.

i accept that i am an active facebook user but still i can live without it and i'm sure that others can too....the rising number of facebook user i guess is due to its simplicity in using and all the extra features of mmorpg games like mafia wars etc....also, its chat system is one of the main feature that has attracted its users...but now as facebook has reached about 350million users,it is getting a bit disturbed ....nowadays its chat do not work so well....also presence of most of their frens on face book attracts them...but still we can live without it....

I'm one of the person who used internet almost 15 hours per day.
But honestly i don't have friendster and facebook account. I really
don't know why I don't like websites like that. Or maybe I'm just not interested at all. So definitely...a people can survive with out those two sites in the
internet especially me.

Yes agreed that facebook is one of the famous social sites but it is not that all are addicted to it. Till date, I don't have a facebook account nor i'll create one. All I have is an Orkut account where I keep in regular touch with my friends. I am not against face book but still I have no intention creating one account. Hence my final say is, Yes, people can live without Facebook.

It is not a wisedom question since we donot have computers, cellphones, TV and even newspapers when the human appears. We had lived so long without these products and so we can also live happily without these things let alone the facebook.
We can only say that it is these technology that make our lives more easily. The only things that we couldnot leave is food and water.

I could definitely live without Facebook, I think. I barely use it anyway. About the only time I use it is just to play Farmville for a few minutes here and there. I'm certainly not addicted to Facebook anymore like I was when I first joined it in 2005.

I have heard about facebook and what can people enjoy and do at that wonderful site. But I think that I don't need to be at facebook to live. As of today, I am not yet a member of facebook but I am alive and healthy. It is a lie to say that we cannot live without facebook. That is too far from the truth. If you say that we cannot live without air, then I would definitely believe, but if you say facebook is a must to live, then I would have been non-existent at the moment. Anyway, we can still enjoy life even without facebook. Good day.

I actually don't think that I would be happy if Facebook was no longer around. I'm not one of the people that spend all of my time on there, but it is really important to me because it is one of the places that I really can feel connected to my friends and also my family members that are far away from me. For example, my best friend just had twin daughters in July and because they moved to Texas, I have yet to see the babies, however, because she and her husband post pictures of the twins as well as their other three children on facebook I am able to keep up with their family.

It's possible to live without Facebook. I can do it. I don't even remember the last time I used that website; it was a long time ago and I don't like it. There does not seem to be any need to go on Facebook. I like Mylot better, because in here it is more interesting. Facebook has games and stuff, but here on myLot you can have a lot more fun.
I don't understand why people stay on the computer just for Facebook, it's not that good and there is not much gained from the visits. It's not such a great site, in my opinion.

The advantage facebook compare to mylot is that we can look on any friends post the message and what happen to our friends. But mylot is great place to let us write our anything to discuss.

Haha.. i can totally live without facebook. I have an account there. I'm not really a big fans of this kind of networking, either friendster or facebook. I just create an account so that i can keep in touch with all my friends. But i do have a lot of friends that are so addicted to facebook. They just non stop post on their current situation. Whatever they did, wherever they are, even queueing up for the toilet. It is so hilarious =)

I have to say, I am pretty addicted Facebook, not just because I want to stay in contact with my friends and see what they've been up to lately, but it's also because of the tons of applications that Facebook has! There's so many different games, quizzes, and a lot of random applications that keep you entertained for a while so you're not bored. It's just fun being on Facebook because there's so much that you can do, like updating your status, tagging pictures, playing with the applications, 'wall-ing' your friends and commenting them, etc. I've personally never really tried Friendster so I can't compare, but I have to say that Facebook is pretty good. I think a lot of people like to try new things, so when Facebook came out, people started to give it a chance and kind of test it out. Before long, a ton more people joined in and now Facebook is as popular as ever.

Yes it sure is! After seeing that all my friends had a facebook account, I decided to go forth and make an account myself, not to feel like a nerd. In total, my total time spent on my account is about 2hours. I just hate facebook. It disgusts me. I see it as a website without any sense to it. Surely you can chat with your mates and...add each other as friends? , but isn't that why we have MSN?
So I don't use facebook or any other silly website about making friends and what not, I just simply find them a complete was of time. So the answer to your question, yes people can live without facebook, not many but some can.

The advantage of facebook compare to msn is that we always can look on our friends' photo when they go to any place to play. Like that we can have topic to chat with friends.

well facebook is simply just a networking site its just the best one out there at the minute,
I can quite easily live without facebook, and if a better one came along I would move lol,
sometimes am on facebook everyday and other times I log in once a week.
It's no big deal, just a very easy way to keep in touch with people and a lot cheaper than picking up the phone and getting charged for making a call,

I don't get the point, i was never a facebook or any other friend networking site typo guy. I created an account just to view the status of my friends, and was forced too by my friend lol. Anyway i usually just go on it once a week, its really no big deal. I usually go on my computer to play call of duty or proceed with mylotting. Anyways, when i ask my friends, the majority said they just go on facebook and spend hours on it. I can live without facebook, but personally i don't think my friends will be able to, and if there wasn't any other social networking site, im sure my friends would all go on a revolution.
