Is the Universe infinite, if so, are there an infinite amount of planets?

I think there MUST be some point in the universe where there is nothing beyond, but the concept of infinity is a hard concept to grasp but there has to be SOMETHING beyond all the planets. If there isn't, would you just keep on getting farther and farther away?

The best bet would be to consider that the space time is warped and imagine that if start travelling from earth say in one direction, the one fine day you will arrive back to earth from the other side.

According to Hubble, a well-known astronomer, our universe is expanding, not constant size.
