Why some much attack on ptc sites?

Recently, I have noticed a lot of attack on new ptc sites, it is either thier DDOs was claimed to have been stolen, paypal, or server problems. Why is there so much attack on this new sites, one of this sites say people are doing this to hinder thier progress. Why should people do this? I know it happens in offline business but online business, it is too much?
