How would you relate HOPE and DREAMS?

I think hopes are dreams you see while you are awake.You can go confidently in direction of your hopes while you are still dreaming.You cannot do o in the dreams you see,while sleeping.
How would you relate both of them?

Dreams are something with inspire us to do something with hardwork and dedication to achieve our goal/success in real life and hope is just imaginary thought which often comes in mind have no relation with reality especially when we are not confident.
